    I disagree when ppl say that there’s 2 things a young qb needs: an offensive line and a running game. I disagree with that. They need an offensive line and stability in their coaching staff. No young qb will succeed behind an unstable coaching situation where the HC or OC always changes or behind a poor o line

    Mac has Patricia as his OC in his second season with middling receivers and one of the worst offensive lines in football. No second year QB would look good under these circumstances. The discrepancy between his performance last year and this year is proof.

    Part of what makes Belichick great is the fact that he picked Tom Brady and kept him on as a 4th string QB. Benched Bledsoe. Came up with defensive schemes to shut down the greatest show on turf. Also shut down the Rams in their last SB. Did not call timeout against the Seahawks in the superbowl. Shutdown the Falcons in the superbowl. Coached the team when it went undefeated in 2007…… and the list goes on and on. He is the goat. Even Brady says he is the goat.

    Patriots could be ok with Zappe. They would be #1 seed with Brady right now. But they are just wasting time with mac Jones. Should play for the highest draft pick.
