Joe Osborne’s Best NBA, MLB and NHL Bets for May 9, 2022

Another big night of sports betting action is here and I’m back with a three-pack of bets, covering the NBA and NHL playoffs and Major League Baseball.

On the ice, I’ll take the Penguins to go up 3-1 in their series vs the Rangers. They’ve been the much better offensive team during the series so it’ll be interesting to see if Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin can bounce back from one of his worst games of the season in Game 3.

On the diamond, I’ll go with over on the Guardians teams total of 3.5 which comes in at +115. Somewhat surprisingly, they lead the league in wRC+ vs right-handed pitching. They face Michael Kopech of the White Sox who has a 1.17 ERA. That low number looks misleading when you consider he has a 4.30 xFIP.

I’m back at it for another big week of sports betting action with my four best bets of the night for tonight’s NBA, NHL and MLB action!
Starting things off with Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, I like the Warriors to wrap things up and finish off the sweep. They’ve been destroying the Mavs on the inside while playing dominant basketball during the second half of these games.

For my favorite prop, I’m taking Steph Curry to go OVER 11.5 rebounds + assists. He’s gone over this number in all seven games vs the Mavs this season, including averaging 15 in the three games in this series.

On the diamond, I’m rolling with Corbin Burnes and the Brewers at -128 over the Padres in beautiful San Diego. Burnes is in Cy Young form and is levels above his counterpart, Blake Snell, while the Padres are also struggling vs right-handed pitching.

Wrapping things up on the ice, I think the low scoring games between the Rangers and Hurricanes continue and will take under 5.5. Both goalies are playing at an elite level while both teams are playing clean hockey with neither spending much time on the man advantage.
