You guys are an absolute joke. When we win next week and Goff has a good day, you'll then be claiming he's a top 5 QB, he can take us to the SB. The fact is Detroit sports media is by far the worst in the country. The Lions are 9-4 and all you guys can do is tear them down, I guess because they're not 13-0. This clip is a joke. The team is 9-4 for the first time since?????????? The offensive line is injured with Jackson and Ragnow in and out of the line this past month, mostly out. There have been major injuries to the defense in McNeil, Anzalone and players the Lions thought would play but who have not. They've played a tough schedule against young good teams with good improved defenses. The Raiders just held the Vikings to 3 points. The Jets just blasted a surging Texans team 30-6 and the Texans may have lost CJ Stroud. The Jags and Eagles and Chiefs have all lost multiple games recently. What is the insanity with you? It was a bad half with misplays and penalties and some unfortunate calls. Stuff happens in games. You guys need a new line of work.
Goff needs to clean it up but so does everyone else
Ben Johnson's play calling has sucked as of late. Aaron Glenn has been a joke. And Dan Campbell is putting the stamp on these losses with these senseless 4th down conversions. Everyone has sucked.
The last thing I want to see right now is Goff leave. Because when all the things I listed off weren't happening, he was still winning.
Nobody was saying any of this stuff for an entire year. From November of 2022 to November of this year everyone was praising Goff
And even with the recent struggles, still has a better record than Mahomes, Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence, Russell Wilson, and Matthew Stafford.
These are two guys that have no clue how to handle adversity.
1. First pick is MCDC's fault for a 4th and 10 attempt while in field goal range.
2. ARSB dropped how many passes?
3. 2nd pick it's obvious Laporta cut the wrong way on the route.
4. The fumble, yeah thats JG16's fault.
We got too many playmakers on offense but our qb is trash
Teams are just squatting in the 5-20 yd range and we refuse to throw deep balls. I don't know if Goff can't or won't do it or BJ just doesn't call plays where the first or second read is a deep pass. His 3 yds underthrown ball to Jamo tells you all you need to know. Outside of trick plays and a rare TE leaking behind everyone we just won't throw deep. I never trusted Goff without BJ. Now it's hard to trust him with BJ. Do NOT extend him. Let him play out next year, franchise after if you have to. Next year it's time to see what Hooker can do.
