man that was some word salad around the 2 minute mark when she's talking about its all about the game with the name cuz the same name game might not be the game thats the same or something like that rofl im like WHAT rofl

  2. @bobcantputt

I've noticed when I opt for an outside straight, the game seems to offer the choice much more often afterwards. Are the machines allowed to learn my decisions and then capitalize on them?

  3. @BrettsCorner92

Is it possible to find a machine that pays over 100%?

  4. @BrettsCorner92

I wonder if you could have a smartphone app where you could take a photo of the screen and it would tell you what to play.

  5. @Jeremy_the_bot

Do you have any games that arent gimmick games with a nassive house edge?

The best odds in the casino are poker tournament if you're skilled and the sports book if you have deep knowledge of the sport. Everything else is going against you so you might as well have the most fun. Video poker is cool but it gets old quick. If I'm going to blow money, I'll take blackjack or craps.

  7. @roger2264

Not that complicated. Video poker has the best odds for the gambler when compared to slot machines. Like you said, skill is involved and increases your chances of winning. I prefer double double bonus.

  8. @vasonar

Great advice. Follow Linda's advice for your best shot at winning Video Poker. If you don't win, at least you won't be throwing your money away.

  9. @chuckgriffin6074

Excellent advice and I've ordered your book. Any insights out there for finding casinos that have the higher return video poker games? I have heard 9/6 is very hard to find.

  10. @bigsassyster

But how to check the 100s of machines with 100 different variations? Would take all day to check all the machines

  11. @chassull857

Cannot hear a word you're saying

  12. @donatuskissoon9365

    Very nice Linda

    Good video!

    Doule double bonus here!

  15. @vxenon67

I find in Video Poker you are not challenging a dealer or other players. You are challenging the odds. E.g the probability of getting a queen if you throw away 3 cards and get a 3-of-a-kind.

  16. @chriswilson1968

They don't pay the most, they take the least.

  17. @mikekoenning

How to EASILY find the highest vp games. Is she really suggesting walking up to every machine and comparing pay tables is the easiest way. I think there’s a website detailing where the full pay machines are in each casino, if in fact that casino even has one… usually in the high stakes area, or in way off strip casinos your average tourist doesn’t frequent.

Just like in the last video she keeps saying that your money "lasts longer" playing a low volatility game. This is incorrect. If you start with $100 on a Jacks or Better game or a Double Double game with the same exact payback and play until you have $0 left 1,000 times, both distributions of time played will have the same mean, but the Jacks or Better sessions will be more closely clustered around the mean while the Double Double distribution will be more widely spaced out with some significantly shorter sessions and some significantly LONGER sessions. The expectation for both is the exact same. Obviously, risk of ruin will be higher (especially if you are playing without an appropriate bankroll, but you shouldn't be in the first place.) Please stop saying your money will last longer. This is mathematically 100% incorrect. How long your money lasts and risk of ruin are not the same thing and what she's saying is misleading.

Obviously, I don't recommend playing until you have $0 every time you play but I needed an example 😂

    Now we're talking

The issue with video poker is that it is a computer program.

It only appears that each card in a 52 deck has equal probability of being selected. However, if the program is coded to select the cards that will not make you a winner, then it will select the losing cards for you 100% of the time if that is what it is coded to do.

The machine's program is coded to allow only a certain amount of winners. ( I am speculating, but that is probable if it is a coded program)

Video poker is still luck based at the end of the day if you know anything about coding.

So video poker will still allow some winners, but if you are going to play poker where you want your skill to be the greatest determining factor on whether you win or not, it is best to play at a physical Poker table with physical cards.

  21. @brianwilliams1789

if u spotted the tell early why wouldn't u check call the river?

  22. @UnknownWarriorZz

Why would you bet River if you’re so sure he has clubs? Supposed to check and induce a bluff…you either lost value…or didn’t really put him on clubs.

  23. @georgionw6554

Why bet on the river when you only get called by better.

  24. @bahmanataeianfat5706

I love Daniel. Though his chance to win preflop was clos to Phil he was upset after having k because his friend lost. Nice sympathy

  25. @scottalford7393

You bet pot on flop to see where you’re at wtf

  26. @kungallu2133

If you knew he had a flushdraw you should have checked the river 🙂 a busted flush draw will not call you on the river after you bet 3 times, but naybe he will bluff whit hes busted flushdraw so you get value from busted draws

  27. @greer2402

You caint generalize this to be a tell. Everyone is different

  28. @breandainkeating121

Check that river cuz and let him blast off

  29. @martincardos5023

You raise 20$ not bet 😂😂😂 nothing to learn from this fish

  30. @dillon5383

Plot twist* He flopped the nut flush

  31. @irishnich4456

If the opponent thinks for a while and show you obviously that he is hesitant, most of the time they have very strong hand. You're just lucky this time.

  32. @irishnich4456

I guess if the opponent goes all in the pocket 9 will fold hahaha.. when the flop comes 5,Q,2 the opponent might be hesitant not because of flush draw but maybe because he got only duces lol but turn it into a full house in the end.

  33. @stevesteve788

"i bet $20 to see where im at"- spoken like a true fish. Every winning player knows "bet to see where im at" is -EV and torches $$

  34. @mattguad

even if you're right, why would you fire the river…..check it over to him and make him bet to win

  35. @J-A-A-K

If you were sure your read was good then you played the river very poorly

  36. @ForgeFirstPoker

I wish you success… but you butchered this hand… even given your tell, your line til the river is fine. But your “tell” will also have smaller PP’s in his range, going for thin value ~60-100 on the river is the optimal sizing, if your opponent is aggressive.. then check to induce, but given his line, he’s a fish.

  37. @maxgraves2187

2 was an awful river card

  38. @smallno

So why u bet the river?????

  39. @rppoker8541

If you really spotted a tell then why not just check back and let him bet bluff ?

  40. @jimmyhuynh6049

you can only confirm it’s a tell if you see what his cards are .. so the next time he has that “tell” you’ll know what likely two cards he has.. we don’t know what his cards are cuz he folded .. so you cant correlate his “tell” with anything
