Billy was never balanced at Bama way too pass heavy and in big games on crucial downs his play calling was predictable. Kiffin and Sark were light years better callers

  2. Markell Wyatt

Do you think Charlie strong would come to be defensive assistant?

  3. Lifeislikeaboxofchocolates

When bama played us in Oxford it was evident that their scheme was trash but Bryce’s ability to create sm thing out of nothing is more then elite there’s not even a category for it w a solid OC bryce wins a natty

Greg can preach at us all he wants but we lost games we should not have lost. One of the things I hate, and it seems O'Brien loved to do, was throw those stupid east.west passes behind the line of scrimmage, of which the defense has usually sniffed out and blow up. Miss the slants thrown with Tua.

  5. Randy Young

The only problem is I have a bill. O’Brien is attention to detail too many penalties turnover ratio. That’s my shoe I didn’t. I didn’t feel like the players were focused are fired up.

  6. Randy Young

Greg are you going to come vac to T-town as the QB Coach Co- OC

To defend BOB is idiotic. I will step outside the schematic, personnel, and developmental issues that he has for a second. And has always had.And I know what Bryce as done in the last 2 years. But he became a technically poorly Coached QB,both in mechanics and ball handling. Ponder this:

    *In 8 ballgames the last 2 seasons(nearly 30% of the games)against:
    Fla-2021
    LSU-2021+2022
    Auburn-2021
    Ga-2021(Ring game)
    Texas-2022
    A+M-2022
    Ole Miss-2022

*THE TIDE averaged 25 pts Per Game….
    *Avg. 260 yds passing….
    *Completed 59% of their passes…
    *Avg 6.2 Yds Per Attempt,which is terrible….
    *16 TDS+5 Picks

*Ran the football 260 times for 890 yards in these 8 games…111 yds Per Game…
Avg. 3.4 Yds Per Carry….(And that includes the 51-286 this yr vs A+M with Milroe)

*In these games ALABAMA AVERAGED 5 yds per play…Not acceptable at this place.

TIDE lost 2 of these games. Could have very easily lost all 8 of them….He HAD to go…

Also our O line decline under his watch. May not fully responsible for the o line but partly because he is the man calling the offense

  9. Jonathan Vandiver

OBrien could not adjust to the game he stayed with a game plan even it wasnt working. You yourself said he and Goldening needed to go if i remember right.

Greg you should try your hand at coaching as the OC at Bama. You one of the smartest people on the planet.Your ability to break down a football game or play is unprecedented. You should interview for that job!

  11. Onlyonestinger videos

Adequate, the defense has given up more yards per game the last 4 years than ever. With GOLDING in charge. Good thing Bama had Bruce Young or Bama would had gotten beat many more games. Obrien did decent job but his playing calling was somewhat skeptical at times. Look at the talent on the defense under Golding??? with Turner /Anderson and the Defensive front we had. last two years was a waste of Bryce Young and Will Andersons talent.

Hey Greg. Still think the committee got it right with TCU? Why in 2007 did Big 12 Cinderella Kansas who lost to Missouri by 6 points in the Big 12 title game get passed up by LSU who had a similar path as Bama. Two losses to Kentucky and Arkansas.

LSU was the right team just like Bama this year and LSU destroyed Ohio State that year.

This years NC game was a disgrace and you were touting TCU should be in there.

  13. Carl Barrs

Al fine and dandy, but he is NOT a college offensive coordinator because he and his staff could NOT develop his talent. How do you recruit the best players, including receivers every year and none work out for the last three years? Yes, they bring them in but they leak the players back out in the portal because they are not being used and developed. Saban needs some teaching coaches right now or Bama will begin to lose the close games and 5 stars out the portal. I hope they continue to be second tier to Georgia. Go Dawgs!

  14. Chris McCandless

We do not go down the field consistently. The play calling seems all over the place. We sneak run plays in , he puts good players in positions to fail. What are the signs of a poorly coached team: penalties, out of position, undiscipline…

  15. Nelson Robinson

Much respect but all I heard was excuses made for Bill O’Brien. Yes, Bryce won the Heisman in 2021 but why was he the first to lose the Natty? Sounds like to me all that passing actually did hurt. There’s plenty games I can recall where a simple handoff would’ve either won a game or kept the games from being so close. Not to mention, he goes shotgun on 3rd and short and goal line situations. Bryce was forced to throw because of the inconsistency BoB had with establishing a run game so, of course he’s gonna win the Heisman. After Metchie/Jamo left, it showed me BoB and Wiggings can’t develop WRs 🤷🏾‍♂️. No way he hit a slump when they took over with Prentice, Bond and Lawson on the bench (2017 RydeOuts similarities)

  16. Robert Carullo

I totally agree with everything you said in this segment, especially the receivers, coming up short in many important game situations.

  17. JM12Green

I blame Nick because he hired both guys in ultimately it's his team he runs the show

  18. Michael Archer

Bill O'Brien look at what he did at Penn State. Amazing job

  19. BradR

Goldings Idaho mashed potatoes soft defense was the problem. Bobs offense was fine.

  20. rwtindall

How many college football teams have won a natonal championship when they didnt have a starting quarterback, offensive coordinator OR defensive coordinator before February 1st of that year? I'll hang up and listen. Go Dawgs!
