New York Giants draft rumors are gaining steam with this year’s NFL Draft set for next week. Reports are surfacing that the Giants could trade down from the #11 pick. This would be different for the Giants as GM Dave Gettleman has never traded down from any pick as an NFL GM.     The long shot of Sewell falling to us at # 11 is a no brainer that Giants jump on him fast….

    The big JPP size DE Rousseau being there they may not be able to pass him up either….

    But best guessing have one maybe two of the most watched weapons of
    Waddle
    Chase
    Pitts
    Smith …. is very likely although not a lock …. but very likely it will be one of those four….

    But we've seen many surprises in the past at number one ….

    So let's see how this goes….

    We need offensive threats. We got Saquon, and DJ I guess, but nobody else is really a big threat. Shep, Tate, and Slayton are ok but they're not threatening WR's. I'm not going to even talk about Engram. Get us Pitts or Waddle and we should be able to better this season with more weapons for DJ to use.

    My opinion we have to take a receiver. Love both receivers from Alabama personally but any of those receivers will help right away.

    Your Giants-Bears trade projection proved to be prescient It was almost spot on Instead of #11 for #20 & a 2021 2nd & 5th, Gettleman got a much bigger haul albeit split over to next year’s draft as well. But you were damn close. #11 for #20, a 2021 5th, & a 2022 1st & 3rd is a great haul. Worked out for both teams. Giants still got a great pick in Toney and extra draft capital plus the Bears got their franchise QB without giving up a huge haul like the 49ers. I loved this deal. The Giants and Gettleman have had an insane offseason-outstanding free agency & an excellent draft. Go Giants.

    I choose 1…. I would had like 2, but only If Giants don't have to give up the 3rd round pick….. and trade 3 only if add a 2022 1st round pick to that deal

    I don’t mind trading down to trade back up. If we can get Phillips and a good 1st round graded guard I’ll be happy otherwise stay at 11 and go either tackle or wr and worst case parsons
