Everyone talks about his 2023 drop off being because of a coaching change but didn't they bring in Clyde Christensen to work with him as a QB coach? This will turn out worse than Mac Jones.

Nice to get a pick that wasn’t a reach.. that’s 2 years now with a good 1st round pick. Let’s hope the pats keep this up. Draft best available players in positions of need in the first 3-4 rounds always. You can gamble rounds 5-7.

The Patriots would be smart to draft Tez Walker in order to ease Maye's transition to the NFL. He knows Maye and will communicate to the wr room how Maye's mind works, his preferred ball placement (pause) and route combos. If the Patriots are going to build a healthy ecosystem around him, give him familiar faces that can be productive with him.
Huge mistake drafting this dude, not impressed at all. Should have took marvin Harrison jr just for the clear fact that he is a true #1 wr and all the receivers we have on the roster are just ok, none of them scare opposing defenses. A small issue I know, but 3:07 is not a highlight for Drake Maye, the ball was thrown behind the receiver, it was a good catch/great recovery from Paysour but nearly picked off and more luck that the corner sold out and tried to intercept leaving Paysour all the space to get to the endzone. It's a Paysour highlight, not a Drake Maye highlight.
People saying he's underthrowing some of these apparently don't know what throwing with touch is? Some of these are underthrown but his arm strength is not the worry but his accuracy and anticipation. Both are fixable with coaching.
