I think you need to look at the type of quarterback that Nick Caserio has always looked at and wanted. Look at his past in the quarterbacks he’s been involved with getting in the draft. Bryce Young does not fit that mold at all.

If Houston takes Young as everyone suspects they will, then with the 2nd pic Seattle has 4 choices. Anderson, Carter, Stroud or trade back. The last thing Seattle should do is trade a gold double eagle coin for a handful of copper pennies! DON'T TRADE BACK! Personally I'd like to pick Carter, but I'll take Stroud or Anderson!

Big fan of how closely you appear to look at these players. I agree with you on JSN, Mayer, and Downs. I will say if JSN does end up on the Jags, I would see that as a mistake. It would give them 3 players that do their best work out of the slot (JSN, Ridley, Kirk).
Will Levi’s would never be on josh McDaniels radar. Doesn’t fit the scheme and certainly doesn’t fit what josh looks for in qbs
As much as I like will Anderson, Edge is very deep this draft and IDL is not. You can get a great edge later on. Get an elite IDL or trade back for a QB hungry team.
Trading back to 4, 6-7 can get you more picks and still a really great player.
I'd be really happy if they turn this 1st into 2 or 3 more firsts.

houston may end up with 2 top 10 picks. if they are smart they will figure out a way to get anderson and a qb. bryce young is not a special qb prospect. that doesn’t mean he can’t be a special player.
houston could trade the #1 pick and then trade back up to the #2 pick.
Seattle needs Carter. There are edges they can get in the second. Carter is tops or trade down.

MY Hawks have TWO MASSIVE HOLES the whole Dline and the LB core. Our first pick should be Carter he is an unbelievable monster on the line he will eat up blocks and holes. I like Anderson but we can get a very good edge guy with our second pick. The level of talent drop under Carter is very large compared to Anderson there are a lot of edges under him that will do great with Carter on the Line.
