Wish I would've watched Teddy before placing that bad bet on ULL

Offenses have not progressed. Offenses, starting in '79, began receiving huge shifts in their favor by NFL rules committee: offense allowed to extend arms and "block" using hands; arbitrary 5-yd contact rule on WRs concocted; "greater emphasis" announced on calling defensive pass interference.

Subsequent to these dramatic, transformational rules alterations came arbitrary "tackle box" grounding change. Now we have targeting, defenseless receiver, hitting QB high, hitting QB low.

All these changes (all adopted by college except 5-yd rule) moved football away from underlying design of game: seize ground using passing as as a way to keep defense from placing 10 men on line of scrimmage and turning game into rugby match. Now, RBs like Eric Dickerson, Marcus Allen, O.J., Tony Dorset, Jim Brown….have been replaced by new heroes: WRs. But it's not because offenses minds are sharper now than then; rather, it's because powers that be way back announced publicly that rules were being altered to increase scoring to better suit "the casual fan." A much younger Coach John Madden protested these changes but was ignored. Game has never been the same for this 59-yr old.

How can ANY experienced gambler NOT think Ralph Michaels is doing a TON of over-handicapping? When you over-analyze games, you start seeing things that aren't there. No disrespect, I'm just keeping it real and giving MY OPINION, as a man who has lost a fortune over-handicapping the horses..

Followed Teddy right at the -3.5. Appreciate the good choice on Chicago!

I completely agree on Arkansas State. Yes, their defense is atrocious, but they can score, I think Blackman being out may be a good thing, and this is definitely a blah spot for Louisiana.

Sticking to the sports betting script makes this show better than with the prez
