In my humble estimation, the best moments of humor (such as they are), emanating from the Wagertalk fold, tend to be organic and spontaneous in real time.
In much the same way that the least qualified player at a poker table tends to be an oblivious hinderance to themselves, so too does that same concept apply to humor and comedy.
If the goal is to retain viewership for the entire duration of the content, then why run the risk of losing viewers along the way, with forays into unfamiliar and particularly unamusingly shallow waters?
