Enjoyed these interviews a ton. Much respect to Gunner turning things around. Look forward to hearing you on his radio segment.
Personally, I like it when Gunner goes off on his book rants because he’s so enthusiastic and his ideas are really interesting. However, I can see how that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. It transforms the interview from question/answer to question/extended narrative. That being said, it was definitely cool of Mitch to really let Gunner have the floor and not interrupt him to refocus the conversation back to his intended subject topics. Too many people do that, they forget the reason someone was chosen to be interviewed is because we’re interested in seeing what makes them tick. Uncle Mitch- your interviewing skills have really come along my friend. Nothing feels forced or the slightest bit awkward. You’re asking open ended questions and stepping aside. It’s awesome to see. You’ve really come into your own and I couldn’t be more happy for you. Last, I don’t think I ever mentioned it to you or not but I’ve been listening to Gunner for a substantial period of time. So, I was really really stoked to see a couple guys I have a ton of respect for hop on an episode together. Very cool. Keep rockin brotha.
