College football will get weaker and weaker with this new CFP expansion. I’m anti-CFP expansion

Dan sounds a little defensive. His skin is as thin as KDs. If you think you’re right just stand by it and move on.

Ohio State should never be in the top they’re not that good they beat weak teams all year long and then when they play real teams they lose like the SEC

ASU has been a sleeping giant for years. They spend no money when it comes to football and are letting the NCAA slap them around over a couple of visits from recruits during covid. Land Urb, you become a contender, but we have no big boosters willing to spend dough like the SEC and can't compete with the big boys while stuck in the PAC.

Expanding playoff will just water down the regular season. It’s a shame, I love tuning into games each week to see who wins/loses because 1 loss can totally change a teams season. But of course more money for everyone involved so I’m sure it’ll happen

Never expand. That is the death of the sport.

College football gets less relevant every year, and less watched every year. Why? Because there are less than 30 schools nationally that make money, or get significant enough "TV" exposure to make it into the black, and of those only 5 to 10 have a real shot winning a "national" championship. Outside the old Power 5 conferences the other 64 Div 1 schools lost on average $23 million in 2019 (the year before COVID-19). Forty colleges in the Power 5 conferences lost on average in 2019 $16 million each. Paying coaches outrageous salaries in comparison to what educators make has become a national disgrace driving up tuition costs amid a student loan crisis. Since the major television networks decided the West Coast didn't matter and scheduled most of their games late at night, attendance and interest in the college games west of the Rockies has hit rock bottom. If your program never mentioned college football again that would be a welcomed added benefit. https://www.bestcolleges.com/news/analysis/2020/11/20/do-college-sports-make-money/

I'm not even sure why we need a National Champion. It has ruined the rivalries and traditions almost everywhere.

This was B1G and Pac-12 not allowing ESPN to get the expanded playoff TV rights unopposed

CFB & networks have been leaving money on the table for years by not expanding the playoff.

We need to stop the yearly beauty contest in College Football based on polls, rankings and reputations. Go to a production-based system that takes team stats (best offensive, best defense, strength of schedule) in order to compile a "Strength Value" (SV) for each participating school. This value will be sliding scale so the number can go up or down based on how schools perform that particular season. Their wins will then be weighted (points) based on the current SV of the schools you defeat. Top 16 qualify for the playoffs. Fair, balanced and not based on BS.

Click bait is what the other's are doing. It does get frustrating for information consumers.

For the most part college football is a popularity contest.

I don't understand what he wants credit for? Someone told Dan something? Dan repeated it. He wants credit for doing no work.
