This Cowboys Mock Draft focuses heavily on the defensive side of the ball – shocking!
The Cowboys have plenty of needs before free agency, with defense being among the most important. The Cowboys have several free agents at DT and CB and the current players haven’t played that well to begin with.
Defense is the heavy focus of this Cowboys mock draft. Dallas has 10 picks via the draft simulator thanks to projected comp picks. There were no trades this time, but Cowboys Report host Tom Downey was able to help the defense in a big way.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LB POSITION, ESPECIALLY PLAYING 3 LBs:
THE SPREAD OFFENSE.
The "PROBLEM" with the Parsons pick for me is you have Smith, Vander Esch, and now Parsons.
So when teams run SPREAD OFFENSE, which they are doing MORE and MORE now, unless you have a "PLAN" to do some different things with Parsons, alignment wise, etc, which LB are you sending to the bench, provided Vander Esch doesn't send himself to the "BENCH" with another injury.
That's my only "ISSUE" with the Parsons pick, but "AS A PLAYER", he isn't a bad player at all.
Jeff doesnt understand potential and cieling…Parsons Cieling is to the Moon…Already has the physical tools…If he sharpens his Mental tools he can be Patrick Willis
Losing out on the two CB really hurt. I have to imagine the Boys will look to add Richard Sherman or Stephon Gilmore via trade after the draft.

Ok so what do you do when both top corners are gone?? Lee just retired and wolf hunters neck is iffy. They also lost Thomas in FA as well. So LB needed to be addressed at some point. We have at least one good starting corner and one good safety. FA isn’t over nor is the draft. Let’s see how it pans out.

i like the prospects DADADowney not a bad draft but….Safety and DT are plug and play need for a while now and OT right behind so you address that in FA – John Johnson Dalvin Tomlinson & Darryl Williams….Its a must!
