Outside the playoffs, the bowl games are basically the losers bracket. The players don't care to play in them, star players will opt out to train for the NFL, and a lot of movement happens with new coaching jobs, players entering the portal, etc.. These bowl games are SO stupid. The extended playoffs can't happen soon enough!!
How OU, a team that's barely .500, and a complete shit wreck gets to play 13th ranked Florida State in a bowl game has me jaw-dropped and baffled. Meanwhile, 11-2 USC is playing a lower ranked Tulane while 15th ranked Oregon is playing unranked North Carolina.. Something is seriously wrong here.

This has been the craziest college football season I've ever seen in my 40 years of being alive. You can't pick one team and say that's the team to beat this year. I mean really, so many upsets so many pole changes, all the usual suspects are not so usual this year 🤔
With that being said, it's been really fun to watch. We need more college football seasons like this one. And as always we have Alabama crying 😢 in the background saying "it's not fair" we we're robbed 😢.
This season will go down in the record books 📚 for sure!!!!!

Alabama has two losses……done. And Alabama doesn't have a win better than TCUs Best wins. Alabama lost those games. Bama, should've lost to Texas too. TCU looked better than Alabama against Texas. Alabama and Ohio state don’t belong. Ohio state didn’t even make their conference game so they have played 1 less game, had a loss, and looked like a complete failure against Northwestern who is perhaps the worst team in college football this year.
TCU and Ohio State both can't beat Bama and they wouldn't dare join the SEC, the hardest conference.
Ohio State got their ass whipped and still make the playoffs.

If I was a member of the committee..TCU and Ohio State both would not have impressed me because the last thing I remembered is that they both lost when it really count. Because TCU lost to #10 Kansas St.
AND TCU is at # 3
If this had been the regular season…TCU would have drop about 4-6 spots.
I can also make and argument about USC losing to a # 11 Utah.
USC was # 4 and after they lost they drop to # 8. It doesn't make sense.
This committee are a bunch of winos that know nothing about college football by voting for teams that lost bad and championship lost to a team that was out of the top 10 ranking to make the playoffs.
Alabama is the ONLY 2 lost team that would be considered making the playoffs. And those lost were in the final seconds. One was a missed field goal by Bama and the other was a trick play in OT.
This year the playoffs are not going to be competitive at all
