    Screw Ohio and screw Tennessee

  3. Matthew Berg

Bama should be 1 they are the best team

I'm a Georgia grad and bleed red and black, but I'm also a realist, and the Bulldogs look more like a team that will wind up rated somewhere between #5-10 when all is said and done. The defense is not as dominant as last year, and the offense isn't explosive enough to make up for it. I wouldn't be surprised if Tennessee beats both Alabama and Georgia, the Vols have the same mojo that Georgia had last year.

Not so sure that my Dukes deserve the 25 spot, but god dammit am I happy for them. I hope NDSU takes the step up next. They would take the MACs lunch money.

Ohio state number 1 ? Dude must be a idiot has he not seen there schedule and the teams they have played so far what a joke lol

  7. Kev almighty

    Alabama
    Ohio
    Georgia
And maybe Tennessee I’ll put Mississippi over Tennessee

Whats the difference between SEC and B1G?! According to Massey Composite Rankings; Top 10: SEC- 4 teams, B1G- 3 teams…..Top 25; SEC- 5, B1G- 5……Top 40; SEC- 8, B1G- 7……Top 60: SEC-12, B1G- 9, Top 80: SEC-14, B1G-11. (based on 57 computer and 2 human polls today possibly a few more computer polls to be added later in week)will see where its at when all said and done after conference championship weekend . Playing SEC schedule that much tougher!?!?!?!?

Ohio State has a ton of points due to going against weeek teams. They will be in the playoffs but struggle in a big way.

  10. tyganda gilmore

Ohio State, not winning a national title, period it's every year soon they play a team like Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas.

  11. Stanley Worthy

When A D Mitchell ,Arian Smith come back at the WR position you will see the pure speed and height of these two WRs along with Jane Carter the best defensive lineman in college football teams will feel the Bulldogs dominance once again..

  12. Ceyaah Later

So when are they gonna admit that Georgia doesn't play anybody

  13. Motovation982

Everyone just not going to consider the fact WE HAVE A FRESHMAN BACKUP THAT CANT THROW A HUDDLE? And not consider the fact we have a Heisman trophy winner and runner up sitting on the bench resting? But that's cool, shows how biased the AP is, moving a top 6 team at best to #1 after struggling with 3 unranked teams with their starting lineup. Tennessee will blow their doors off and they'll drop to #2 because some made up fairytale, the wind was blowing a little hard so they get a bye or some garbage.

  14. NT4XT

Go Dawgs but #1 is like a curse. No, thanks. I think UGA should be #3. Then there might be a chance at beating 'Bama for the SEC.

stop with these bogus human polls and committees and go by Massey Composite Rankings…..based on 50 plus computer polls plus the two human polls gives a much better read on why strength of schedules are what they are, takes into account opponent's opponents and results and gives a real read on teams ranked 15-60 (the teams that the top 10 are beating week in and week out …KY, AR, IA, WI, LSU, A&M, MN, FL SC….) !! look at the last 7 or 8 teams ranked in the two human polls and how far off they are from the composite ranking…..at least this composite ranking is less based on opinion than the two human polls which by the way not every voter (nor commenters on these message boards)watches all relevant games!

  16. Tee Jaye

I am so impressed with Ohio State, over a month into the season and they FINALLY played a road game like a big-boy school.

  17. Sven Kreuzberg

This Voters must lost your mind ! First of all my Miss. State Bulldogs played 5 cupcakes and blowed them all out in Memphis, Bowling Green, Arizona, Texas A&M and Arkansas (Without KJ Jefferson) and lost to a LSU team after a 13-0 lead who just got rosted by the Tennessee Vols. How do we deserve to be ranked 16th ? And to putt Georgia to #1 over Ohio State and Alabama is mindblowing. UGA shoulda lost to Mizzou, could nearly beat Kent State and struggled badly in the first half against a horrible Auburn team.

  18. Dragonius X Zýziānīxézidìan

    Damn shit keep coming…

  19. buzzardman44

That's rat poison, Ewers and Texas shouldn't be what if-ing, ppl are setting Ewers up for a fail, he thinks his absence is the only reason they lost, what is going to feel when they lose again.
