Mayer is gonna be like the kid the cardinals took last season.

  2. DOC Sylva

Bs. They always say that crap. They been saying the same crap every draft. We wanted a receiver but it didn't workout. Bs. They drafted Rodgers for not a receiver? They drafted him to fumble the ball? Now this really is the dumbest team when it comes to drafting. Last joke was they took tom but didn't play him because he was too small? They retarded officially. Addison is the best receiver in the draft. Why because his college career is proven that he's done it longer than two years. Johnstonof Tcu is a pretender. You are biased and size doesn't matter in football at receiver. Steve smith proved that. If that's the packers way of selecting receivers than its gonna have problems finding them. Receiver comes down to has heart and the it factor. They don't need to be blazing fast(devante..) in a the right offense Xavier Hutchinson is better than most of these receivers. If they take a tight end and want lots of production from that position in yards. Washington and kincaide is who you take

  3. Steve White

Am I wrong to think that any trade parameters that relate to what Rodgers may or may not do is a bad idea for the Packers. So, if the Jets want him for two seasons, then they can ask him to commit to two seasons.

  4. BAF 1969

JSN gets caught from behind on almost every highlight. Too slow for the #15 pick. Please don't trade up for him. There are multiple slow possession receivers that you can get 6th 7th round.

  5. Glen Nelson

I like several TE's better than the WRs . Watching the highlights there are 4 TE's that seem special.

  6. Jon Mayer

Tell Brian gutekunst that you don't draft gadget players in the 3rd freaking round. He treats those picks like shots in the dark. Top 100 picks are valuable to build your team with. When you constantly miss in the 3rd round it creates holes in the roster.

  8. Daniel Hoefs

My thinking for what’s it’s worth. 1st round best player available… get the super star. The rest of the draft… needs.

  9. HighPlainsDrifter

Davonte couldn’t do it alone even with MVP….SOoo, Watson is going to require some compadres

  10. Le kebbles

this is why i argue picks next year may not be the worse option.

  11. Shane Buske

Peter, I like taking a blocking tight end instead of picking Washington to get as a blocking tight end in the 2nd round. Take DT Keeanu Benton or and edge pass rusher in the 2nd round; and in the later rounds Packers look at tight ends Davis Allen, Blake Whiteheart, Luke Schoonmaker, Josh Whyle.

  12. Jeremy Schulthess

It would be sick to see Watson, Darnell Washington, Hyatt, and Doubs on the field together. So much size and speed on the field that would give DCs nightmares heading into games.

  13. Greg Ginter

I heard we owe Lowery 3 yrs of dead cap! Is that true? An that if we had waited 4 days, we'd have owed NOTHING in dead-cap! Ugh. Gutes stupid, again!

  14. Greg Ginter

The entire 1yr commitment fr Rogers is a total false flag! Once Rogers is traded, he becomes their problem not ours to worry about. No way we should owe them ANY future pick. That's just stupid!

  15. Greg Ginter

We definitely need to trade down! JSN is not even #1 in the field because Addison is much better n Flowers is the next coming of Tyreek Hill! Yes, both are tiny BUT both possess #1 juke skills! Per Steve Smith, both of these WRs always square up w/ DBs n leave them in their dust! They challenge DBs! Smith only weighed 166lbs on his draft day but he noted team nutrition, weight lifting n guidance turned him into a WR monster!

  16. Greg Ginter

I disagree w/scant premise…per Steve Smith, the only 3-level WR in this draft class is Addison. Flowers I #2. But, imo, Rice, Mingo, Ford-Wheaton, Landers, n Perry all have size n speed! Btw, on draft day, Steve Smith was 5'9.75"/166 lbs! And, he became another buffed out Sterling Sharpe. Size matters but so does ♥! ♥ may be THE intangible factor to be considered!

  17. Ryan Howe

You're forgetting Cedric Tillman, Michael Wilson, Jonathan Mingo, and Bryce Ford-Wheaton. Those are good receiver prospects…I especially like Mingo from Ole Miss…that kid makes "WOW" catches and has a 9.68 RAS. He would be a FANTASTIC 3rd round choice.

  18. LV Hitman

    Hamstring injuries linger for years.

  19. Steve White

I really enjoyed this podcast. I could visualize the combinations you described and how they would enhance the offense. Thanks!

  20. George Carr

Michael Wilson from Stanford is an excellent WR with injury concerns. Watching him on film reminds me of Jordy Nelson.

  21. Jjames James

Lineman and pass rushers is the main thing

  22. Clayton Acuff

They need d line man too lost two starters from a year ago one of them Devante Wyatt last year but need another one that's something there overlooking and is a bigger need then receiver

  23. infrarEd999

You gentlemen clearly don't know what your talking about!

  24. GucciDaFrog

We haven’t drafted a wide receiver in the first round since 2002 😂🤣

  25. Void Enthrall

I’d argue o-line isn’t a top 3 need tbh, te safety then it’s DEBATBALE between wr and d-line for top 3 needs o-line is like 5th on the need tier list

  26. Leonardo Bonilla

Personally I would draft a QB like max duggan or stetson Bennett maybe in the 4th round to have a little contingency if love sucks. I mean I don't know if the Packers faithful would be okay with them sucking enough to get Caleb Williams

  27. Eric Claeyborn

These guys didn't mention EDGE at all. It's a major power outage with Rashan Gary out with an ACL injury. The guy on the right doesn't even know that Rashan Gary is out.

  28. Eric Claeyborn

IMO, the Packers biggest needs are EDGE, Safety, TE, OL, DE, and then WR.
Need EDGE because R. Gary can't play because of an ACL injury.
Need a Safety because Adrian Amos is most likely not coming back.
Need a TE because Tonyan left through free agency.
Need OL because Bakhtiari and E. Jenkins are both recovering from an ACL injury, and the RT may be gone through free agency. Bakhtiari will also be 32 yrs old.
Need a DE/DT because Dean Lowry and Jarran Reed left the team through free agency.
The Packers need a speedy WR opposite of Watson, but not at the risk of not filling the other greater needs.

Could use some better depth at RB with Aaron Jones going into his 7th season.

  29. BIOBORG

They need everything for ten years. One kick return. Horrible drafts. Secondary gives up a td way too easy. No sack leaders. Gave away their best players over and over.

  30. Keeping IT 💯

Gotta tune out the draft now. Sponsored by a queer beer gets you no where! 🖕🏿💯🇺🇸

  31. Joe smith

    Packers receivers are nothing special.

  32. Tim Tresch

As a Packers, and Rodgers fan I know they're going to go with love, and I would too. But, realistically once Rodgers gets traded it is very possible the Packers biggest need could be quarterback.

  33. kopes28

I wouldnt mind them getting Tank Dell, think he might fall lower in the draft because people will look past him because of his height. But I also wouldnt mind JSN 😂

  34. Scotty P

Your Packers analysis is right on, Chris.

  35. Ross Lillebo

Packers are morons. Their large neglect and mishandling of the WR position the last 4-5 years is criminal.

  36. bob welke

Packers will go into this year as a complete unknown. If Love performs well, they will be a contender. If not, not. But assuming they get some decent picks and a free agent or two, they can't do any worse than last year's debacle with Rogers at the helm (not saying it was all his fault, but he played his part). Actually, it's going to be fun watching how this turns out.
