Bencic is a tough player with experience. Leylah did very well. She seems fitter than last year, and determined as ever.
I dont understand that they have the same pricepool but play BO3 instead of BO5. Its seriously unfair for men and has nothing to do with equality

Bencic won Charleston not so long ago, I think she is kind of satisfied with that and not really motivated right now.
Fernandez is playing terrific and hopefully she can win a slam within the next few years that would be amazing for her career.

Leah has beaten Bencic, the Olympic champion in the 2 matches they have played so far. And avenged her fellow Canadian's (Andrescu) loss to Bencic in the previous round to boot!
