@2:25 just to show you how lame and against innovation the people running the NCAA are, they really outlawed the fake slide, which I think is some bs tbh. Like if someone wants to take the risk of getting hit and/or the other other team really falls for it, then that’s on them imo. But because someone took advantage of something like that in such an intelligent way is amazing, and of course they outlawed the fake slide after this, which imo is just the lamest thing ever tbh. Like they just can’t stand innovation or people coming u0 with new okays or whatever if isn’t them or I’m sure a team/school they actually like tbh.
Like that was such an amazing “thinking on your feet type play” literally lol, and it irks me that they really made it illegal. But if you’re someone who can even remotely come up with a good reasoning behind why they outlawed it, then I’d love to hear your explanation, cause I’m always open to learning the reasoning behind it from someone other than the NCAA themselves cause they’re just a joke tbh.
I will say this, I was listening to a Bussin’ With The Boys podcast with Shane Gillis the other day, and if i understood them correctly, Taylor said something like “They’re about to be done with the NCAA” or something like that, which I, not sure exactly what he meant by that, if he meant they would be done with using their rules or done going by their guidelines and all here soon, but if anyone knows more than I do and can explain to me exactly what that means, again I would love to hear from you and hear the reasoning or what you think your reasoning behind it would be tbh. Which again, that was just what Taylor said and he could have just been talking 9ut the side of his neck and bsn lol, but I just don’t see how they could ever have legit college athletics without the NCAA, so I’m very curious to hear how they would have them still without the NCAA, unless he’s saying they’ll be done with the actual organization and the old higher ups running everything and start putting more of the responsibility into the hands of the Conferences, Schools, Coaches, and Players maybe. But again, if you’re more educated in the matter than me then please feel free to comment and lmk what it is he was meaning.
And on the first highlight, thst just shows you how different the mentality of the guys playing today is compared to the old school players. If that happens even just 10 to 15 years ago he’s getting laid tf out for catching it and just standing there knowing he never signaled for the fair catch, but it’s almost like, even though todays players are faster and more athletic, they just don’t seem to use their heads as much and literally just let that man do that to them smh. Like how are these guys on a team frfr if they’re letting something like that be done to them.
