To run these sims, you MUST download the google sheet into an excel file and proceed from there.
This is to teach you guys the basics of creating your own Monte Carlo simulation. This can be done for essentially all sports. This specific model will not immediately make you a profitable sports bettor, however, this should give you the basic understanding of how a model works. The model is only as good as the information you feed it.

Great video thank you so much. My question is, how can I temporarily switch it off? I tried a couple of things, but even when I disabled most of the cells involved, it still calculated the full number of sims. I have included the sims (as you did it) into an existing page which I work on when not looking specifically at the Sim, so I would like to switch it off, to regain my processing power, then switch it back on when I want to use it for the next match. I guess I could create a macro, where I change the 100,000 number of sims down to say 10, which should give me back my full power. The truth is, I'm now intrigued as to how to actually shut it off. Btw, the slowdown of regular keystrokes is about the same time interval if I use 10,000 or 100,000, I did tests and the speed was the same. Only if I stop the sims or step it down to about 10, will it restore me back to full power.
Great vid, would love to see some more of this type of content!!
