People forget that Mac is smaat. Vewwy smart. Undergrad 4.0 in 3 years, then masters. He does not need a high maintenance QB coach or OC training wheels. Having Judge and Patricia as offensive coaches gives Coach more time to spend directly on Mac–which will pay dividends.

Can’t wait for the start of the season

Listen, Pats have burned the ships in terms of the playcaller, the season is here and there’s no going back. Besides, we’re going to find out regardless so no use in still complaining over this. Football is back

Bill Belichicks coaching staff usually gets picked apart by the end of each season. I tend to believe over the past years he's taken that into consideration and is looking to streamline the League once again by having players with a continuity of the system have a larger role in playcalling. For example, what better way to test this logic than with a Smart Young QB with a redeveloped offense built to his strengths that could have a long future with this same team (meaning expensive contract extensions). We all know Bill has a price tag on positions & with these new QB contracts now making 25+ mill a year at the minimum Bill is going to make that price point more justifiable by adding another task to their plate, he's going to make said player earn that money. What better way than to have your playcaller be out on the field, I mean obviously you'll still have your offensive coaches/assistances on the sideline but without risking the loss of your OC year after year.

As a Freshman at Bama, Mac Jones was changing plays that Saban called in practices. Saban was pissed. Mac still kept on changing them. Mac won't wilt under aggression from Judge or Patricia if he is sure he's making the right call. Curran needs to shitcan the constant ''Concern Trolls''.
