Neither Harbaugh or Day took a big hit to their legacy. Nick Saban is the most successful coach in the history of the game when you look at the championships he has won. Go back and look at the start of his career. There are things you have to learn as a coach and you constantly have to adapt. Urban Meyer could build a program for the short haul but couldn't sustain it because he built toxic cultures. Day and Harbaugh are building quality cultures. If they continue down this path they will both win a title as long as Harbaugh improves recruiting. He doesn't have to be at the top because he does develop players well but needs more quality depth. If you look around the country there are very few programs who are building something as good as them.

TCU is a good team. If Michigan didn't make the countless mistakes they would have beat TCU by 2 touchdowns.

He is on the same path as Kirby… beat your big rivals in conference play, then beat the big name schools in the regular season. Get to the conference championship. Win it. Get to the playoffs. Win. Get to the championship game. Win. It took kirby a while to get here. Harb seems to be close behind him.

Losing record against Ohio State losing record in bowl games I think his winning percentage is somewhere right around .700 at Michigan. He's better than their last two coaches but that's not saying much. Lloyd Carr Gary Moeller Bo all had more success.
Jim harbaugh can coach here as long as he wants to. He has taken us to the top teir of college football and beat ohio state handly twice in a row and 2 back to back b10 championships. This loss sucks but doesn’t ruin anything imo
