Refs messing up the game with their agenda in the NFL and nba
Here is an off-the-cuff "simple" offering for an NBA refereeing solution.
Thank you Fred Van Vleet for making the first move.
"SAY IT LIKE FREDDIE".
Every player making over 10 million a year should budget 30K per season. Use this opportunity to highlite the very bad officials.
Every player with 10 plus years of NBA experience should be allowed to give every referee a "grade" for every game officiated. Make the system simple: (1) point for allowing a game to be played on a level field; (2) points for a basic flawed performance that may have affected a game negatively – this can happen to any officiating crew; (3) points for an unforgivably "crap" performance that took the game away from a team.
Add the numbers up after each 20-game segment. Make the numbers public… call them "officiating stats." Create a system of accountability that includes penalties, sanctions, removal from the next segment of games. What do you think of that?
I hope this gets a tide moving because I don’t think I’ve ever seen all 30 teams going through it like this before. Superstars get a light whistle, we know, but even the darlings of the league are getting weak ass techs and ejections. The officiating is more wishy washy than a Maytag deluxe. What’s a foul in the 1st isn’t a foul in the 3rd. Let em play through it on Sunday, it’s a tech on Monday … trash season man
Rippppp!!
The only man in the NBA with hair on his Dingaling only real man in the NBA, took 6 foot one from Toronto to stand up to these refs in the NBA. We need more players doing this. We need to players association doing something about this it's disgusting the way NBA is called now
It wasn’t 3 of his 8 techs this year came from Ben Taylor. It was 5 of his 8. If you watch them you will see most were really soft.
FVV is 100% right. It's too bad none of the max players will step up and call out the shitty officiating but then again a lot of them are the beneficiaries of these bullshit calls.
They are laughing about this but it’s serious. People need to stop being scared and call it like it is, it’s corrupted point blank
