Argentina didn't underestimate Croatia, they were ready. And then there was Messi. I'm Croatian, proud of us, but I feel the magic of this tournament IS Messi, the knight in the shining armor of the football fairy tale

Except for the questionable penalty decision, everything was great…

Morocco vs. France will only remind me of Abdurrahman Al-Ghafiqi vs. Charles Martel (Balat As-syuhada or Battle of Tours). 😂

Penalty was gift to Argentina. INJUSTICE!

It’s Blessings from God, what a talented player Leo Messi is, Alvarez is a super talent, one match to go Argentina, I’m so excited for you guys. This is Messi’s World Cup!!! ❤️🙏🏽🏆🇦🇷⭐️

Guys, the only hope Argentina has is that Morocco beats France. This Argentina team cannot beat France. Notice that ALL France 🇫🇷 goals are from open-play. They never had to go to penalty kicks to win. Tactically, the French team is too good for the South American.

I don’t get this “vintage” Messi or “Messi’s rolling back the years” like he ever lost it …

Messi never lost his magic – he’s literally been banging them in for over a decade & had one below par season at PSG (when he was presumably settling in, not to mention devastated with how it ended for him at Barcelona).

He may not be as fast or as agile but he has massively improved other aspects of his game over the years, especially passing.

It would be nice if he stayed with Argentina for the next Copa America …

One of the beautiful stories of this World Cup is Christian Eriksen of Denmark – he had a life threatening heart problem, was not sure whether he would play football again, recovered well & returned to football before captaining his country at this World Cup.

I also loved Japan & South Korea’s group stage drama …

    ♥️

OHANI WAS BORN IN MOROCOO CASA BLANCA LALA MERYAM NOT IN FRANCE.

The Goalie for Morocco plays the way I used to play defense. Most defenders just stand there and wait for the offensive player to make a move, but I used to fake the offensive player to go exactly where I wanted him to go. I usually had a better than 90% chance against them even if they figured out what I was doing.

  31. PES Kxng

    Problems with Spain:
    1. Poor squad selection
    2. They play like Manchester City in big games
    3. They played Morata up front

  32. LabGorilla

Spain 1 shot on target. 1. Even the pens were passed to the keeper. Audios Esponges

  37. BonuxCouleur

I love that Scotsman man, in typical English fashion the female host is trying to suggest that Southgate did a better job at preparing England for penalties than Enrique did for Spain. No one remembers it because no one remembers England winning anything… oh wait that must be because they have not won a thing so who cares how they took penalties once in a lifetime.

  38. Flash3650

Luis enriquez, xavi only know how to play one way the cryuff way, trying to pass teams to death,at the end if teams dont change itup you become extremely predicatable not too mention they over hype pedri/gavi. they are average at best instead of taking experience players they went with them with no creativity, thats why they are at home.

  39. BonuxCouleur

    926 passes, 1 shot on target…
How can the Spaniards not get spanked with such mortifying attitude? It actually always surprised me that no one saw through their pitiful tactics of 2010 when their won their only World Title passing to death. They were boring their opposition and the supporters to death back then already and their coach thought he could do it again, what a fool. And this tactic was nothing new even in 2010. West Germany invented it, it has won all of its titles using the same bore to death approach. So good on Morocco for parking the bus, it is time for Spanish football to reinvent itself. The Spaniards are just too boring to watch, it is cynical football at its all time worst. "We had lots of passes we were dominant", that's where Spain fails to understand football or any team sport for that matter, passing the ball to yourself for 130 minutes does not make you the dominant team. Possession means nothing when you shoot 1 goal on target all this time. How could Enrique even defend a strategy so aimless is beyond me.
