I left my player card in a slot by the front door at Harrahs and I got a diamond membership that year. Since I only gambled a couple hundred bucks I figured that people were playing on my card. That was back when most people I guess didn't have player cards.

Offer seems to be limited though in some way, since I am a Gold Status from outside the US and offer is not available. However, would you know how many tier credits live poker (per hour) grants you usually and if the Horseshoe Double Comp / Double Tier for $2/$3 would multiply with this offer? If you get the Wyndham earners business card for 95 a year you get diamond status. Don’t even have to step foot in the casino. Plus you get cc points for using card.

I think status is for suckers. You could literally buy the things they “give” you with all the money you spend to get your status and have money left over.
