The Packers stayed at 29 with their first round pick. They took Georgia cornerback Eric Stokes. Here’s my reaction!

Aaron Rodgers says bye bye, enjoy that CB though.

  2. @DeadlyDanDaMan

Glad to see another Packers fan who see's through the bullshit like I do. The entire Rodgers story is made up bullshit to generate interest in the draft to get people to watch. Rodgers isn't going anywhere. He isn't going to sit out and miss games. He's too competitive for that, and the Packers had the #1 offense in the NFL with the WR's that are still on the roster. It's all BULLSHIT made up by the media to generate money. Controversy = FREE MONEY in America.

I believe we wanted Newsome over him…Now we will see who has the better career

Nice ! I had a freak out for like one second as my mind could not wrap my head around which Georgia CB I saw in the pop up picture. Then I read it was Stokes and I am kinda pumped. The Packers secondary is loaded right now. I flat out love this pick and before the draft I was not 100% sold on any Georgia CB. The Packers picked a good one here. They got a guy that can help them day one and he makes the Packers better right now. Great start and so much really high talent left to grab on this board moving forward as well! This is a really strong start to a good class of players.

Eric Stokes is not a bad pick . This is a guy who can play the hammer spot and jump the hell out of things with great speed. Gute likes the guys with the freak athletic highs even if they have weird low floors . Gary hit and Alexander Hit. Savage Jr hit . Stokes will hit too.

Rodgers wants out & they draft a CB. What a clown show.

  7. @loldamoney5684

eric stokes reminds me of jaire alexander, they were both the fastest in there drafts out of all the CB'S, everyone doubted jaire and wanted them to get someone else. eric stokes reminds me of jaire but taller and has the dreads of kevin king. hopefully joe barry carries us to a superbowl this year or we're doomed.

  8. @loldamoney5684

i'm just glad we didnt draft a RB / QB / EDGE RUSHER in the first round

  9. @raybrean9889

Hopefully they can build a great defense Great pick by the Packers Go Pack Go 💚💛

  10. @bartstarr100

Every many Mick drafts have them reaching for receivers. Righ tackle is a need. But I like a versatile corner corner/safety

According to the measurements given at their Pro-Day workouts, both Teven Jenkins and Samuel Cosmi are the same height at 6' 5" and 7/10ths of an inch… so they're 6' 6".

  12. @judgeadvocate9275

People are ignoring the fact that Caleb Farley didn't do his pro-day workouts because of a sore back, and also, he didn't play any games in 2020. So if he didn't play any games in 2020, how did he get his sore back? I'm getting red flags on this guy. Farley also has very small hands (8 3/4") for a 6' 2" CB.

  13. @judgeadvocate9275

Billy Turner is really a guard playing in the RT and LT positions.

I believe this is an ideal draft to draft CB first round, especially with special talents like Farley Newsome and Melifonwu being viable options at where we pick where in any other draft they’d be gone by pick 29.

I really don’t see the first round WR talents as that appealing where we would pick. Not nearly as much as CB.

  15. @timarmstrong4538

Great breakdown bro! Will be interesting to see what goes down on draft day

  16. @LVHITMAN

Don’t take players with a history of injuries!

  17. @WoolChutan

I would put money on packers trading up to go up to get Newsome or trade back for Elijah Moore in the 2nd

  18. @deanhowell2315

Are you kidding me!? We need a wide receiver!

  19. @rthilson

I think they should trade back to as late as top 5 2nd round and get an extra 3rd and 4th round pick unless someone falls

  20. @CoolGirlPatrice

A great fit for the packers would be DL Alabama Christian Barmore

  21. @dylanwalsh5024

can you make a video about how the packers could get julio Jones

  22. @kd_fadakingdom_topic

    please asante samuel jr 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

#5 Alim McNeill DL . I will not give it up completely . He is still the most Packers like player in this class. They pick guys like him historically and DTs are rare in this class.
#4 Greg Newsome CB . I know for a fact the Packers have eyes for him. I think a bunch of teams also see the value in him and Green Bay will have to move up in the 1st to pull it off.
#3 Christian Darrisaw RT Animal blocking talent in the run game who could start at Tackle day one and improve upon Turner at either LT if Bakhtiari is forced to sit out some games (which i doubt) or RT if they want to move Turner back inside or trade him for anything before the trade deadline mid season to pull a great value out of a short term player.
#2 Asante Samuel Jr . I know for a fact the Packers have him ranked super high and he is the perfect example of a twiched up CB with a Jaire Alexander skill set. Kevin King being resigned would allow the Packers to use Samuel in the slot and in a backup role when King gets dinged up at some point during the season.
#1 Teven Jenkins . I have heard more rumor coming out of the past 3 weeks from Green Bay about Jenkins and no other player. Everyone I talk to says that Teven seems like a Packer already off the field and he plays a lot like the offensive lineman the Packers really prefer. An instant star RT and one who would anchor the RT spot for a decade at the highest possible levels is a player I would also be tickled to get at any point in the draft. I have him ranked #3 Tackle in the draft. Others in media have him at #5 . Either way I see him as a home run and a 5 star talent with a super high floor and ceiling.

If the PAckers pick any player in this class at any point it would not shock me. They could go in 10 different directions all up and down the draft board. There are more players that fit what Green Bay does in this draft than is normal for a class so they can pick anyone without surprising me.

For me the secret players I have not even spoken about more than a few times that I truly want more than anyone are 3.
#1 draft crush : Elijah Moore WR from Ole Miss. I do not see much of a drop off from Jamarr Chase and Elijah Moore. Everyone else in the world may call me insane for saying that but I would pick E Moore over, Devonte Smith and Jaylen Waddle because i think he is going to be a mega superstar at WR in the NFL early and for a long long time. He is shorter than any WR I have ever gotten pre draft crushes on but I simply do not care. His film study is the best film outside of Jamarr Chase in my book and he ran routes that the Packers use 40 times a game at school at a very high level.
#2 Kadarius Toney : As much as I love Moore I am only slightly less excited about Toney and who he can be as an NFL player. he has freakish abilities I have not seen in an NFL player since Barry Sanders played ball. I do not care which team picks him he will be a mega superstar for that team.
Both are so far from being targets of the Packers and so I can wish and hope somehow they find their way to our roster in my dreams .
#3 My actual WR crush I have decided to refuse to speak his name until after the draft as not to jinx it at this point. I have talked about him before a handful of times but not until the Packers pick him so as not to doom them not to. !
    GO PACKERS!

  24. @gordonwang9667

my ideal packers draft: greg newsome in the first, then the best coverage linebacker there is plus a wr in the second and third(don't care about the order it's all about whos still there. we need the most value out of those two positions)

  25. @jesusoftheapes

Man if Caleb Farley falls due to this media spin the Packers would have the best 2 CBs in the league overnight. I cannot tell anyone how well his back will hold up . What I can tell everyone is I do not care about his back at all! PICK HIM!!! He and Alexander, Savage,King and Amos would make up an unstoppable secondary that would smother all passing a games they faced. If the Packers can produce even the slightest pass rush they will be the top team in turnovers as well with a secondary that good. Also Kevin King allows Farley to not have to play through his rookie season full time. Which would allow him to heal even more completely and be even more durable moving forward. If he is on the board after pick 20 the Packers should do anything in their power to move to get him. If this was not about his back surgery we are looking at CB #1 in Caleb Farley.
That being said I think he will be gone and all this bad press about his back is some teams attempt to get him where they sit in the draft.
Draft week is finally here ! I have never hated a offseason as much as this one! This was the least fun scouting season in NFL history and it better not be like this next year!
