niet Heracles die het jaar van deze video degradeerde hahah
If this goes trough I imagine they eliminate the eridivise and the pro league and create the Beneliga which would have 2 or even 3 divisions.
For European spots of course they wouldn't get ten, so for the first season, I say join both coefficients and see how much goes up and give it accordingly
Imagine would 3 places for champions, 2 for Europa, one for conference
Like France and Portugal
For the Cup Imagine would a new cup and not 2 separate ones
About the fears of a super league, I imagine UEFA wouldn't allow merge of leagues that are already the best ones.
This experiment has a lot of pros and cons and I think that to balance it we could try putting the two country cups together and see how that goes and then decide from there if a beneliga is a good idea. Also it would be fun to include Luxembourg as well
Beneliga 20 clubs 10 ND en 10 BE Beneliga 2 10 ND en 10 BE ook 20 clubs maar moeten de spelen systeem van mls 10 ND spelen eerst gwn tegen elkaar en 10 BE clubs ook en dan spelen ze een keer tegen elkaar en dan spelen ze knok out beste 8 gaan door 8 ND en 8 BE en laatste 2 bij de stand gaan ze degraderen en keuken kampioenen 3 league BE blijft het zelfde en 2 clubs kkk en 3 league be gaan promoveren naar beneliga 2 en dan 2 beker erbij benecopa
I think this BENE League is an awesome idea. But in April or May 2022 I heard some news that in the end some Dutch clubs and some executives didn't agree so no go in the coming future. I think also a Balkan League or a Baltic league as well as some Danube region league (Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary) is also necessary to improve and keep quality
Great video
Nice video. The Beneliga would be a good move. However, they need to invite Celtic and Rangers to join and maybe a team from Dublin.
as a belgian i think it a great concept because brugge anderlecht or liege ar mostly champions and so the others can win the belgian title and proceed to the beneliga and europa championchip
i don't like this idea because this is far to crowded
It will become the 6th league of Europe and also the world if it might succeed in 2024/2025.
The best after the 5 big countries (England, Germany, Spain, Italy, France).
Even though French clubs tend to underperform in Europe sometimes (except PSG).
I'm a Club Brugge fan and from what I heard revenue will double.
Who's here after the primeira liga past ligue1 in eufa rankings and becoming the new "top 5"?
The level of quality in all of those clubs are incredible consistant. My only gripes with it, is that it may start a domino effect, and we see leagues who merge that do it out of necessity.
Then again Belgium and the Netherlands are two countries with a very tight nit history together. But it sounds pretty neat! The rise of Belgium football is so refreshing, and it’s good football to boot!
Also it sounds distinctly different from a Euro Super league since you can relegate, and you don’t tear up the ecosystem. You only rock the boat to get something new. If there is no relegation and/or clubs than can retain its spot in the league regardless of results, I’m against it.
Luxembourg: eye twitch
As long as there’s promotion and relegation such that every team in both countries could in theory play in the BeNeLiga – which, to my understanding, is part of the plan – then this is an excellent idea. I support this
I like the idea, Denmark,Norway, Finland and Sweden should do the same and build a Scandinavia-League.
Feynoord are a bigger club the psv
Former chairman of Psv Harry van Raaij already talked about a BeNe liga in the 90's.
But is was always held back by minor clubs who have some sort of a veto right.
I am pro BeNe liga but i dont think it will ever happen.
Personally i think the Dutch-Belgium merged league would be a cool idea.
Another league for Ajax to dominate
They did for women football it folded in 2015
