How is Nebraska not on this list??
Michigan State is absolutely not a disappointment. They are great at boxing and kicking, you know, MMA!
Obviously A&M had a disappointing season and people love to point out how they could've easily been 3-9 but they also could've been 10-2 and playing in the SEC championship with a chance at the playoff. App State, Bama, SCAR, Ole Miss and Auburn were all one score losses. With how many young guys were playing it's reasonable that they couldn't come up clutch in the big moments but it should serve them well next year
Miami needs to stop being hyped preseason, they do this crap every year. They think they won the offseason championship every year and get ranked preseason top 15-20 and disappoint. As an FSU fan it makes me so angry to see that every year lol it doesn’t matter who their coach is they literally never live up to expectations
I love your content and respect your takes SG1, but Miami in the playoff is terrible 😂
I got ND as disappointing, not necessarily a disappointment. 8-4 was a reasonable assumption preseason…. but looking back at the season ND had no business not being 10-2. It’s not missing a bowl or a losing record but it’s an Orange or cotton bowl bids vs the gator bowl. When you start the season 0-2, add a loss to a three win team at home and find yourself one win after from a top 10 ranking… super disappointing.
Hey you didn't put my cats up there. I know we have a barley .500 coach and we are building a statue of him already, but we really tried this season. We barley lost to Georgia so thats a win in our books. From the neckbeards thank you sg1
…poor aggy…..poor okie u
I think Clemson should be on this list because many people thought they were going to make the college football playoffs and they didn’t.
Not a top 10 candidate really but I had higher hopes for BC. Now Phil is going somewhere else.
1. Texas A&M
2. Oklahoma
3. Nebraska
4. Miami
5. Notre Dame
6. Baylor
7. Arkansas
8. Wisconsin
9. Iowa
10. Michigan State
Army was my dark horse pick for a NY6 bowl or at the very least a great G5 level team. They are 5-6 and unable to make a bowl game because they had too many FCS teams.
If you ever think your preseason predictions were bad, just remember that someone at the College Gameday table predicted Pitt and A&M to go to the playoff
If anyone was expecting MSU to make a NY6 bowl game without KW3 or half of their offensive playmakers, you’re smoking some pretty good stuff.
Didn’t even mention the worst part about Texas A&M. They are stuck w/ Jimbo Fisher (A&M fans don’t look at buyout trust me u don’t wanna know)
If it makes A&M fans feel any better in 2016 we want 4-8(all but one loss is possession) and next year 2 plays away for undefeated and next year make playoffs undefeated
I forgot Oklahoma even made a bowl this year😂 poor sooner nation. I always like Oklahoma football
I thought we should have been here the only reason I could thing of is next years recruiting class coming in.
I think the number 1 sign of a bad coach is when they have a ton of talent and still disappoint greatly. That's Jimbo at Texas A&M. I personally predicted they'd have at least one natty at this point and about 2 to 3 out of his last 5 years there they were my number 1 pick to win the natty and boy was I was every time. Worse part is they can't even fire him which must be the worst feeling ever.
