Out coached plain and simple McCarty is correct about that Pat's game easy to see that coming
Look at his career. He struggled for years. Why they traded him for 3 first round picks and a 3rd. Goff needs everything to be perfect. Protection separation running game over throws. 2 pick 6s 6 interceptable balls fumble 6 many mis throws. Last year horrible till last few games. We will never get there with this guy. NEVER. he's a bridge period
He misses open receivers all the time, throws short of the first down on 3rd down too much….Freezing up when pressure comes is not it and stares down receivers and don't go through reads like he should……Has he played good this year yes but, he's not the future. Take his money and get defensive free agents to help start the defense.
No, definitely not. Goff needs his main weapon, a versatile back. In LA he had Gurley. Now he has someone almost as good: Swift. Once he's ready to play, Jared will have all his pistols
Dan Campbell is the problem. Goff was doing well until
the mind numbing decision to not kick the field goal. Going for it on 4th down? On your side of the field? Mind numbing in the least. On Campbell. The biggest obstacle to this teams success.
Goff can't do it all on his own. He's a good NFL QB.
Goff is a bust, Detroit is his final Destination 💯 Jared was a number 1 pick. Plays nothing like it. Detroit gets the worst. Goff is one of them. I keep telling people Lions got finessed with the Goff trade. Very horrible QB.
Goff throws a weak, wounded duck ball that’s easy to pick! He’s a one read, check down Charlie that can’t run. Other than being tall he’s got no desirable QB characteristics. Overall he’s slightly above average on his best day. On an average day he’s slightly below average. He won’t get consistently better. He is not a long term winning solution.
We tend to believe Goff is a roughly top 10 to 15 qb. In today’s show we are going to breakdown some of the New England film to see what happened to Goff and the Detroit offense.

I love the city of Detroit. I am not a Lions loyalist in any way. A better headline might be: Should NFL Fans be CONCERNED about the Detroit Lions? No. Call me back when you have a real team. I knew Holmes was taking on an expansion team but Sheila fucked up with hiring Campbell. Detroit deserves a hell of a lot better. I can't understand how anyone supports this team, but I feel the same way about Toronto Maple Leaf fans (last championship 1967).
