What should we expect from people who supported the European Super League fiasco. All those who supported that hot garbage were swiftly called out. By the masses of players, pundits and especially fans. Unfortunately in our country big corporate business interests come before normal peoples interests.

It's not really conference realignment that's a problem in reality it's the GUTTING of our college sports culture that we are against. These moves are being made for "dirty casuals", ROI, TV marketability, made by people who do not gaf about OUR game. They're all opportunists. Y'all are supposed to be with the fans by not settling for this.

Both those conferences have weak teams in them…very weak.

  4. Igor's Locks

Igor is betting that both Stanford &Cal will both make the jump to the Big10. Both schools fit the conference ideal well- great Academic schools, Big city market, strong and passionate alumni base, etc. Washington & Oregon would also fit but not as well as the Bay Area schools. And an ancillary benefit would be Northwestern getting an up close look at a School-Stanford- that truly is world class & doesn't need it's journalism school to influence public opinion. Stanford's arrogance can be justified & if Northwestern keeps at it 1day they may be so fortunate.

College football will have transgender players soon and make rules to support them and then it's over cuz nobody will watch it and coaches who don't recruit em will be branded as bigots git ready it's coming

Coach Deion Primetime Sanders is about to be legendary the Coach of JACKSON STATE TIGERS 🐅

What made college sports special to me was the different conferences. Each conference had a different feel to it. Non conference match ups against teams who rarely play each other is an advantage they have over the NFL. Having a couple of mega conferences takes away some of the appeal and anticipation. There is a possibility that Duke/UNC may not be in the same conference for basketball which delivered great ratings in the tournament

Someone please shut Saban up 😂

Coach Saban mentions no more Oklahoma-Nebraska. Well, this is change of a different magnitude. Texas will no longer be playing most of the Texas schools. USC-UCLA will no longer be playing the Bay Area, the Pacific Northwest and the Desert. Nebraska to B1G was a stupid move. They no longer can be effective in Texas recruiting, and you see the results. USC-UCLA will really tax the athletes flying East for 9 am games. Olympic athletes will tell those schools it's not worth it. Be careful what you wish for. As Coach Al McGuire used to say, "Don't reach for the brass ring unless you are prepared for the responsibility." People love college football because of the tradition and the atmosphere of game day. It's collegiate. It's not the NFL. So what these mega-conferences are doing is changing the DNA of the sport. It's messing with the image and basic marketing mix. It's rearranging football's relationship to academic institutions.

😏The Nick Saban Hate is real.. They blow up college football because they can't beat Nick..

Mega conferences are an absolute joke. It's completely about greedy pigs wanting more. It really screws over the schools, who by no fault of their own, wind up being left out of a mega conference. I'm done with college football. What a joke it's become

  13. Spartan12

Keyshawn acting like every team in the big 10 top 25 type of programs

  14. Five Four

Usc needs to do what the sec do & pad the stats & wins play two fcs teams a year & have 3 bye weeks lol

  15. Ulices Salazar

Players need to start getting payed. Receive some sort of revenue from jersey sales and be able to get paid for advertising…Gatorade, Nike, rebook Jordan brand , Microsoft, Hulu etc

  16. Ulices Salazar

In reality the BIG10 has more marquee games then the sec. Who else you talk about besides bama and Georgia??? Then the cup cake games tail end of the season. The sec pumps their chest on weak conference.

  17. Mr Williams

I think it's bad for college football.

  18. JScrib325

Ironically the part of the reason OU gone be in the SEC is cause the big 12 wouldn't let us play Nebraska at night.

So Nick Saban says Mega Conference's are here to stay!?!?…..No Sh!t, thanks for the update Genius. 👍 🤦‍♂️.
