The 4-year contract extension for Goff was a very bad move. It was done a year early, and even though Goff got the Rams to the Superbowl, he did not score 1 touchdown against the Patriots. That premature extension hurt the Rams and Goff. I hope Goff has a good year next year with all those new draft picks that came with the trade to the Lions.
There's football genius in that Rams organization. Those people know how to win big games. They are risk takers but know what type of risk is going to work.
You know, when I look at this video about trading for Stafford, I can't help but think of the silly insanity of the Cowboy's organization hanging on to the minimally effective Dak Prescott. Poor Dak has reached his maximum usefulness for the Cowboys, and he'll never be able to stand up to the real championship guys. It's time Jerry faced reality as for as winning the Super Bowl, however, Dak sells tickets big time and tickets mean $$$ in Jerry's pocket. It's gotten so bad, that I watch Mahomes & other quarterbacks on TV instead of Dak. He just doesn't have the poise or presence needed to win the big games. Sorry, I'm not trying to be unkind, just realistic.
