Hey, I was just wondering why Alex always places 5-legs on PrizePicks. The max payout is the same as a 4-leg, but increases risk. Is the minimal payout for a 4/5 hit worth the extra risk?

2 legs are too slow for me. Do high odds 8-10 leg parlays instead and raise your unit size. You end up with the same odds but the individual legs have a way higher than 54% chance to hit. More like 80% Alt unders are the way to go.
Why wld you even parlay if its two legs? Why not just put all the money on one???

Major sports are tough…..
But i have two rules with parlays…
1. Never more than 2 legs.
2. Unless it is boxing… In boxing i can easily hit 10 legs, the most i hit was 17.
Track boxing results and you will see it is incredibly easy…
I would even say it is easier to hit a 15 leg boxing parlay than a 3 leg of any other sport..
I have literally only lost once betting on boxing…1 out of hundreds…

Straight betting truly is the only way to profit. I can't tell you how many times I had a game where I'd take the team to win the runline then take s prop from that game that correlated and I'd ending up losing one of the legs.

Would anyone suggest you bet $10 on a +150 dog, and then when it wins, suggest you make your next bet $25 on a +189 play? Should you vary your bets that much? Perhaps not, yet that is what a 2 leg parlay does. If the bets aren't related in some way, same player, win and over, then there isn't any difference in betting one game and putting it all on some other game, or betting a two game parlay.
In all my years I have never had someone explain how they decide which ones to put together on the same ticket. Happy to discuss it with anyone.
Just stick to (2) team parlays and if your going to play (3) team parlays just make sure its -500 -500 -500 👌

I’m definitely ok with the three play parlay as long as you’re throwing in a favorite or two as a money-line leg to increase your odds slightly, instead of strictly going against the spread only.
