EDC just said in interveiw he though he was sleeper of draft and was thinking he was going be on board in 3rd for them. He said good for 49ers for scouting him out and getting him. They were shocked he was taken so high. Kinda backhand compliment (don't think he ment it to be).

The so–called "fans" who are screaming "FIRE SHANAHAN" for moves like this forget that Aiyuk was taken in the late 1st also, and those same clowns were shouting "fire Shanahan! Fire Lynch!" back then. They seem to forget the Tomsula/Kelly days of going 2-14.

I am loving this pick. I feel Shanahan and Lynch are quickly improving at getting the "type" of players that fits this team. Like this guy. Physical. Loves playing football. Wants badly to win. Might sound like most college players. But it's not.
