Fixed Odds Betting

Fixed odds betting is a process of placing bets on pre-determined odds, which means you know exactly how much you stand to earn from the bet at the time of placing the bet. That is, no matter the degree of fluctuation in the odds after you have placed your bet, the potential returns will remain unchanged. Fixed odds betting is wagering against the odds provided by a bookmaker or other individual. It is easy for anyone to say, “I think Team A will beat Team B because of…”.

But when some financial implication is attached, you need to be well-informed and trust only very insightful opinions. While there are diverse articles that regard how to make fixed odds soccer betting work for you, some of the key tips you can absorb are:

– Do your homework: Adding selections to your bet slip anyhow is really not cool. You have to know every possible angle before placing your stakes. It is easy to think that Chelsea would beat Stoke City because it is your preconception of the teams involved. But have you taken the time to study what the stats imply?
– Be mindful of stats such as the overall form of the teams, home/away form, head-to-head records, injuries and suspensions, player form, and upcoming fixtures.
– Respect the Bookies: The odds given by bookies aren’t plucked from the trees. A great deal of algorithm is put in place to arrive at the prices based on the probability that the event will happen. Therefore, you have to respect the bookmakers because they very rarely go wrong with their prices.
– Stick to your guns: Having picked out a few fixed odds tips that have caught your eye, stick to your guns, and never waver.
– Stake sensibly. Keep track of your teams’ performances, and have an area of specialism, typically where you’re good and comfortable betting in that area.

Sports betting can get you a lot of cash but it’s a 50 50 game. I did a lot of betting and lost most times😔, after a while I started legit investments in stocks and crypto-currency markets that helped me get back everything I lost in betting, I’m currently living debt free and my portfolio is worth $400k. I still bet sometimes but just for the fun.

Random question but could someone explain the white boxes on betfair the ones left of the back and right of the lay, 1. it doesn't let me put bids in under the odds 2. how would I put a bet on at odds of 1.05, do you have to wait for the dds to reach that stage or is it through software?
    Thanks

Caan would this be a situation that would work
A twitter tipster dropping a horse to his followers and him cashing out when the price drops?
Also have you ever met someone who bets on draws and makes a profit?
Thanks for the video and your time

Doing multiple sports is a quick way to the poor house .follow one sport and narrow that down as much as you can follow and learn you soon have a edge.I do graded racing at monmore Sheffield sometimes other tracks but primarily at tracks above you find load of price ricks because bet365 go of the racing post tissue
Once again backing on multiple sports will lead to guessing and making miskates
Caan you should know this too

So the example I will use say is i a high volume EPL Premier league game where you have your typical market favourite price up at 1.71 – 2.0. If you then decide that there is no value offer in this pre off situation, and allow to monitor the prices inplay, suddenly you see an opportunity of backing the market fav at 4.0 due to a surprise early goal against them, Question: Is this technically perceived as value and beating the closing line of 1.71 – 2.0 pre off, or NO, its a separate new market inplay, and not overlap the closing price with the inplau price. Thanks as always…

The most recent example I can recall of a static market movement was, the Leo Messi transfer news, if you had reacted quickly enough to this you could of backed Paris SG in the Outright market for Champions League at 7.0, with the confirmation of the transfer they are now 4.50, which is quite a nice move to say the least……and my next comment is actually my main question…..

  18. Shane

Once again great video, and great beard my friend!
