Dutching has been around forever. As it applies to horse racing, it has proven not to work because of simple mathematics. There is no way to compensate for the crowd being correct about the best horse between 33-38% of the time. You need a steady diet of long-shots to stay profitable and the rate at which this occurs simply isn't often enough to make up for all those low pay outs. Chris, how do you work out how much e/w stake to put on each horse? shouldn't the each way bet and total stake pink boxes be left blank to allow for different amounts to be placed? Sorry to sound a bit dumb but i've tried this with a totally blank spreadsheet, using £10 e/w stakes on each horse and the potential lowest profit was minus £300 with highest profit £1600. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Or just take a bunch of horse girls with you, my barn took us to a horse race once, we bet a few dollars just for fun, we know how to look for things like how well a horse is built, what hoof shapes and body types are better for different types of terains, what horses are going to have a better brain, which horses are going to get long strung out and slower, if there's brush, what horses are built for jumping, and most importantly, if a horse is lame (is sore) just based on that we can rule out a good number of the pot, the rest is down to your intuition, I've never not been in the money the few time I've done it
