5th year option for a rb isn't that valuable. Better to draft a prime position in the 1st just for the money you save with the fifth year option. WR, OL, DL, CB are worth 2x as much as rb salaries on average.

Dallas did a great job with this draft, especially with finally getting a dominant Nose Tackle (1 Technique) in Mazi Smith. It would have been nice to have gotten G/T Jaxson Kirkland from Washington. No slight to Asim Richards, he's a good football player and he will definitely help us out. Jaxson would have been a Kevin Gogan type player for us (6'7" and 335 pounds).
Games are won and lost in the trenches, so I'm happy the Cowboys are trying to address that with this class. We'll see how they pan out.
