Darren Moore wasn't asked it was mutual consent and because Darren wanted 4X wage increase so greed led to his sacking! Everyone says Wednesday won't stay up but we will, alot of other teams worse off then us!
Qpr fan and sadly I feel we're going down, just no structure both in the team and behind the scenes.
Cardiff to go down 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Decent predictions there, I think the 3 relegated Premier League sides will all prove too strong for the Championship. I think that Wednesday and Argyle will just scrape survival tbh but Ipswich could be dark horses this time. For me:
Promoted 1-2: Leeds and Leicester
Playoffs 3-6: Boro, Norwich, Ipswich & Southampton
Top half 7-12: Sunderland, WBA, Watford, Bristol City, Stoke and Swansea
Mid table 13-17: Blackburn, Millwall, Coventry, Hull, Birmingham
Avoiding relegation 18-21: Cardiff, Wednesday, Huddersfield, Plymouth
Relegated 22-24: Preston (though I could be wrong after looking at other sides), QPR, Rotherham
Not seen Rotherhams additions then?
Bristol city will either top half or dark horses for play offs
The question with Leicester, Southampton and Leeds is how long the 3 new managers take to adapt the squads to their playing style. All 3 have very strong squads and will finish the season like a train but it might need the boards to hold their nerve in October.
Coventry and Sunderland have done well building on last year with shrewd recruitment. It pains me but Ipswich under McKenna might do a Sunderland and they are still looking to recruit
Under Wagner we have copied the Sheff United blueprint. Fit, well organised and hardworking and difficult to score against providing the centre backs can handle the pace. Sara and Nunez will add real quality in their second season and Sargeant and Fassnacht will score goals. Depends on injuries 6th 7th. Barnes will be our Billy Sharpe
Good knowledge
I'm a massive fan and believer in a lot of the youth at southampton and think that in terms of individual potential they have some of the highest ceiling players in the league. As for Leeds , the Farke links massively improved their odds of winning the league for me but his delayed appointment and now 49ers sluggish recruitment has me concerned. Also there was a quick comment on gnonto's importance to leeds but imo if sinistera stays he could easily be the best player in the championship this season.
BUT, almost regardless of what you think of Leeds, Sou, Norwich, Cov etc and even Maresca himself, If leicester don't absolutely piss the league it will be a huge failure.
Ward plays poorly? Iversen starts next week.
Pereira and Castagne are looking tired? Luke thomas and James justin bring some intensity.
Faes and Souttar are making mistakes? Coady and Doyle solidify the team.
Ndidi, DewsburyHall, Praet are struggling with the pressure of being the best midfield in the league? swap them out for Soumare, Winks, Choudhury.
Iheanacho and Daka are bored of running rings around the opposition? Vardy is waiting.
If they buy a quality keeper I think they are virtually unstoppable.
breakout season for braybrooke also.
1. Southampton (can't split the top 3 but money talks)
2. Leicester City
——————————
3. Leeds United (would like to put them lower but… Farke…)
4. Middlesbrough (play off winners – OPTIMISM!!!)
5. West Bromwich Albion (being generous but a lot of teams very close here around the bottom end of the play offs)
6. Millwall (knocking on the door, and finally it might open)
——————————
7. Watford (assuming they get their shit together)
8. Norwich City
9. Sunderland
10. Preston North End
11. Coventry City
12. Swansea City
13. Blackburn Rovers
14. Hull City
15. Bristol City
16. Stoke City (probably should be higher – dark horse potential)
17. Plymouth Argyle
18. Huddersfield Town
19. Birmingham City
20. Sheffield Wednesday
21. Ipswich Town
——————————
22. QPR
23. Cardiff City
24. Rotherham United
Well done on your win @ Wembley, we are spending the Gyokeres money well, looks like Hamer wants to return to Holland for family reasons but good squad depth next season
Harding was a bit part player . Signed 2 yesterday in wide positions another You tuber who hasn't a clue .
Argyle going down? I thought I liked you, Craig!
And Dan, as an American, i want Norwich to do well but I can't see them in second. Playoffs at best, most like between 6th and 8th imo.
