If the Rangers ball was heavier, it would not have been the first one to go vertical into the chute. It's that simple. But, to have a team get the #1 overall that just played in the playoffs is a slap to all the teams that didn't. NHL DRAFT – WRONG. I think it should go back to the old way and should have been given to the Red Wings and I am not a Red Wings fan. Or here is a better idea, the only teams allowed in the lottery, are the teams that do not make the playoffs and then rank them by the number of years they HAVEN'T won the Cup. That way they get a better chance until they do and when that happens, they cycle to the bottom of the order.
