The Stanley Cup Final is set with the Vegas Golden Knights favored to win the Cup against the low-seeded Florida Panthers.
Meanwhile, Panthers goalie, Sergei Bobrovsky is garnering a lot of love in the Conn Smythe conversation with his odds falling from +25000 in the first round all the way down to 2:1 heading into the Stanley Cup Final.
Who’s your pick to lift the Cup? Panthers or Knights?

Canucks
I plan to say more, in response to the SDPN video "Which NHL Teams Had The Worst Off-Season? | SDP," why, on the page of the relevant video, I see the Flames as, among Canadian teams, big losers during the 9 days ended Monday Eastern Time. That's although, among Canada's teams, I consider, at least on paper, the Canucks and Jets as winners, with acquisitions by the:
– Nucks of d-men Soucy (ex-Kraken) and Ian Cole (ex-Bolts)
– Jets of Laurent Broissoit, a goalie who, when with the Golden Knights only last April, had been on a team that'd beaten his newest one in just 5 games
The Leafs had a rough free agency although GM Treliving did make some acquisitions. The Oilers, Sens and Habs were also quite active in the 9 days ended Monday ET even if to differing degrees.
Adam will hate this comment for no reason but but Columbus GM Jarmo did some great trade moves!
MacKinnon and Drouin back together will probably take the monkey off Drouin’s back good for him .
Adam what are you saying?.. New Jersey IS your team
Jonhson and Clifton are solids addition for the young Buffalo D-core
Best individual signing, Dallas hands down. Their offense is going to be top 3. Carolina probably overall the best. Side note, QUIT BRINGING POLITICS INTO HOCKEY SDPN. We get it. You're bottoms. No need to tell the whole world.
I love drouin, hoping he has an amazing season with the avs.
As a Habs fan i can confirm that Jonathan Drouin has neither the pace or intensity to stay on a line with Mack, he is literally the polar opposite….he can still pass though so could be an ok 2nd or 3rd line winger
I think the best off-season has to be Tor but for some.reason I see the Ryan Greaves sign is going to propell Pit to the cup. Nice depth signings and they keep jarry. Their top lines are phenomenal….if anything they can trade for a big piece at deadline which shouldn't be hard considering how Kane got dealt in the new nhl….
5:54 respect y'all.
So thrilled to hear y'all giving Carolina love and respect. Not that you ever showed otherwise, but still, always appreciated. And as much as I'm sure you hate to hear it Mr. Dangle, but it's because of the Canes that I've become a fan. Thanks for the insight y'all!
Even with the T deal falling through the canes are still big game hunting. Lindholm and Nylander are both targets should they not land anyone else. Canes set themselves up so they now have too many top 4 D men and do need to move some out and both Calgary and the Leafs could use a top 4 D man. If the EK deal happens as well, its only going to be even crazier. People talk like they can't get offense and EK but it seems like with every conversation the EK deal does not require the canes to be out on future moves.
Four goalie game minimum now with all the net crashing they’re allowing these days.
Dallas had the best signing of the offseason with Duchene
LETS GO DEVILS
I think Ottawa did very well. They didn't need to add to their defense as they already have Chabot, Chychurn, Sanderson, Zub and Brannstrom, so brining back Hamonic on a very team friendly deal that leaves room for JBD or Kleven is fantastic! They resolved their goalie issue by bringing in Korpisalo and him and Forsberg are tight so they won't be too upset with whoever gets more starts. The only issue Ottawa has seems to be replacing DeBrincat in the top 6. I know Norris coming back should fix that, but I'd like another solid 20-30 goal guy on that line. Outside of that Ottawa just really needs to stand pat and lock-up a few guys. Maybe add Tatar or Tarasenko depending on what is happening with DeBrincat. This could be their breakout year if the guys stay healthy and Korpisalo keeps up his pace from last season.
I think it’s Carolina and it’s not really close. They lost no one of consequence, kept their guys to great deals, and added talent to what was already one of the best teams. As a Devil fan I’ll compare it to them. The Devils didn’t improve the team in comparison to where they finished last season. That’s fine because the team is already great and so young that they’ll still grow as a team but compare that to Carolina adding Bunting and Orlov (and now getting Svech back from injury). They should the runaway Cup favorites
Never bet against the horse(Vegas).
