Motivation is more important than trends in these bowl games imo..who wants too be there and who doesn't? I would say Cincinnati dont

As one tiny point in the Florida vs Oregon State game, if you are looking at Utah as a common opponent I can absolutely tell you that Utah improved a ton over the season, so the Utah team that played Oregon State was absolutely not the team that played Florida. Now that doesn't guarantee anything, of course. I fully allow that the Florida team that played Utah has also improved a ton on the season and Oregon State may have gotten lucky. Plus, Oregon State may still be celebrating their win over Oregon so much that they aren't as motivated for this game as they normally would be. If Florida has improved significantly since they played Utah, Florida probably takes it. However if Florida has stayed relatively the same, the Oregon State team that we played looked better to me than the Florida team that we played. If the Utah team that played Oregon State had played Florida they for sure win that game. Utah beat themselves as much as Florida beat them.

I'm only mentioning this because the fact that Utah is a common opponent was brought up. I'm sure Florida has also improved, because generally all teams improve. The question is have they improved at the same or at least a similar rate than Utah. If they have it is a valid comparison, but if Utah has improved at a significantly higher rate, especially considering Oregon manhandled Utah and Oregon State beat Oregon, I don't think the fact that Utah solidly beat Oregon State and lost to Florida says a lot about predicting this particular game. I think it honestly says more about the fact that Utah happens to match up well against Oregon State.

Suprised more people are not giving Tcu a chance? As long as Michigan doesn’t own the line of scrimmage(maybe they will) Tcu hangs, better quarterback and play caller imo, Tcu has a better chance than Ohio st again imo

Absolutely love the show & have all season. However, dislike the bowl game scheduling format for the shows. We have to wait 3 weeks in total to get all the bowl picks. That simply isn't conducive to betting parlay's which is my whole purpose of why I love to bet bowl games above all other games. I think with all the extra factors in bowl games with the opt outs, coaching changes & the portal makes betting even better bcuz you have more things you can factor in. More data points so to speak. There is a lot to be said about strategically betting bowl games early on as you can create value in making your own best judgment on who you think will opt out for each team given the player's situation & what is at stake for them & their team. Factoring in how coaching changes will impact teams-playing a bowl game while in a coaching transition. Also gauging what teams truly want to be there. A more talented team that has underachieved with a lesser bowl then what they expected vs a team with less talent but had a great season, is motivated & wants to be there. A example would be USC vs Tulane. USC is more talented but isn't as motivated about playing in a let down situation after missing the playoffs & a shot at a natty. The cotton bowl is like a consolation prize to them. Tulane on the other hand, had a historic season, is supremely motivated, on top of the world with the Cotton bowl & ready to prove they belong with the elite. I'll take the latter in Tulane. They already proved their worth to me after taking down my team at home, the # 9 ranked team & Big 12 champions in Kansas State. The mind is the most powerful thing in sports.

It's a sad day for the college football world with the sudden loss of the offensive pioneer Mike Leach suddenly no longer with us. He was a one of a kind coach & person!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻's to his family! When my Brother passed away from cancer, he was one of the first coaches that reached out to our family with my father being apart of the College football coaching fraternity.
