I think the big takeaway from this year's playoff is that next time the big ten gets another gift of having two teams into the playoffs the selectors will make sure to match them up against each other. That's the only way to ensure that a big ten team gets to the championship game, LOL.
This is a good example of why Alabama is so dangerous. You can see Kansas State just running out of gas after the first quarter. And the thing is, Alabama was just getting warmed up. Once you let Alabama get some steam going its over quickly.

Also people seem to forget and have amnesia that Harrison I don't even think had one single catch the third quarter and he didn't go out till the very end of it Georgia had adjusted for him everybody acts like they didn't have them the entire second half no he did nothing at all in the third quarter he disappeared off the map you know why because they made adjustments but now all the sudden he got hurt and now there's there's crying excuse. Ohio State even with their backup receivers probably have more talented receiving Court than anybody in the entire country if they couldn't pick up the slack then you need to start looking at some coaching issues and get that fixed to have your guys ready when they come in in those moments. But nobody wants to analyze that third quarter where Harrison didn't nothing we wanted blank that out of our mind and say that's the excuse Georgia won. As a Georgia fan I wish no damn players on any team get hurts because I'm tired of hearing the cry baby excuses the what ifs well this is what happened and that's just the bottom line.
My gosh between Alabama fans and Ohio State fans nothing but cry about injuries I've never heard two teams cry so much about injuries it happens it's called football. Those two programs do not recruit the way they recruit and not have next man up capabilities if the next man that comes in is not prepared and ready for the moment that falls back on the coaching hell our whole wide receiving corps was missing almost all of last year for Georgia hell our biggest receiver was missing this year for almost the entire year our best defensive player linebacker Nolan Smith out for the season hell we lost two more linebackers during the Ohio State game we lost Darnell Washington during the game that's a big part of our run game he's not just the tight end he does so much more for that team. We also had a starting tackle during Ohio State missing you don't think that's a big impact on a team guess what we have a thing called next man up and they're just as prepared as the starters are because that is what the coaching staff is supposed to do so if your next guy up is not ready for the moment there's only one thing to point to and that's the coaching.

As a Michigan State fan, I have always thought Cade McNamara should have been the sole quarterback at U of M. Maybe it's just that I saw Cade shred our pitiful pass defense only for McCarthy to fumble the ball twice on simple handoffs and lose the game to us a year ago. I just feel like I saw the same thing happen again on the goal line against TCU. But I think Harbaugh chose the wrong quarterback and that Iowa could be scary good next year if that defense is combined with solid quarterback play.
Those other sports are dying not because of a lack of parity, but because they got WOKE.
