Chiefs are the new patriots. People hate on them because they’re so good and send their teams home. Make up excuses about cheating/refs blah blah blah.
I know exactly what the issue is with fans and the Chiefs. Its the band waggoners. Before Andy Reid and Mahommes there were 3 Kansas City fans outside the season ticket holders in KC. Now every soccer mom and fair weather Johnson in America is a KC fan and people want those band wagon jumpers to be shut up.

Chiefs are up against 2 teams fans for the majority. Raiders since its in their house and 49ers fans. I do believe Philly fans, Cowboy fans Seattle fans and Greenbay are all cheering on the Chiefs. Afc teams are cheering on the 49ers. Plus, you have a few factions that hate Taylor Swift, so of course that flows over into hating the Chiefs.

I don't know how much blame Shanahan deserves for Atlanta's loss in the Super Bowl, maybe some, but I blame the defense more. But making the Super Bowl at best average quarterbacks, while Reid has been winning Super Bowls, with not the best quarterback, one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. So how do we criticize Shanahan if he had MaHolmes, how many Super Bowls will he had won.
