I'll tell you right now, cricket is an absolute non-event as far as the common US sports fan/bettor is concerned.

I placed a double results bet on Medvedev yesterday to win the 1st set and to win the match against Lehecka. Medvedev proceeded to win the 1st and 2nd sets; before the 3rd set started, Lehecka quit/retired due to injury. Since Lehecka's quit/retired, Medvedev obviously was declared the winner of the match and advanced to the Round of 8 to play Eubanks. Fan Duel VOIDED my bet stating that Medvedev was not declared the winner!!!!! I have been in contact with they're support and getting nowhere because they keep saying Medvedev was not the match winner!!! Of course, Medvedev was the winner since Lehecka quit due to injury and Medvedev is now the advancing to the next round. Furthermore, when I read Fan Duel's bylaws regarding tennis wagers, it stated that "if the retirement/disqualification occurs following the conclusion of the first set, the player progressing to the next round will, for the purpose of any match bets, be deemed the winner. Medvedev fulfilled both aspects of my double result bet, which were that he won the 1st set and was declared the winner of the match after Lehecka retired after he lost the 2nd set. FanDuel went against they're own posted rules since the match was already in the 3rd set, which fulfilled the stipulation that a player ( Medvedev) progressing to the next round is deemed the winner if a retirement occurs after the completion of the 1st set, which occurred as Medvedev not only completed the 1st set, he won both the 1st and 2nd set before Lehecka retired/quit. Fan Duel's support team will not give me a valid explanation on why they are going against they're own rules when it comes to retirement situations for tennis and continues to tell me they're betting teams decision is final with no valid explanation and at the same time contradicting they're own posted rules!! Do you guys have any suggestions on what's the next action I can take ? Are sportsbook covered by the states local gaming commission to file a report on Fan Duel's blatant fraudulent actions ? Any help or input is greatly appreciated gents, thank you.
