I'd take Vasy over Igor in a heartbeat; Playoff Hedman over Fox anyday… even if you match defense depth Tampa Bay all day… A rested Tampa forward group… Kuch is waking up… Tampa in 5
Rangers will revenge that 2015 loss. I believe. I believe in this team. They shouldn’t be here right now. That’s usually the team that catches lightning, no pun intended
East – Tampa in 6. You make good point that Rangers have not faced a # 1 goalie, and closed out both series vs. #3 goalie. Also agree that Tampa has much more playoff experience. Still, Rangers are a feisty bunch, and will fight hard.
West – Colorado in 6. Kuemper makes me nervous, but Avs have better D, and just as much firepower as the Oilers. Should be very entertaining series. With edges on D and goaltending, have to go with the Avs, who also have home ice advantage.

Everyone is saying Tampa Bay and AVS will win . I say both rangers and Oilers win
Good and fair break down, I think Oilers got weakness that can be exposed, don't think they can score them out of trouble all the time, especially against one top defense core like the Avs. Scoring is going issue, Smith probably is playing at his highest level, whereas Avs fan know there's another level in Kuemper. Not sure if his career ending eye injury by inches has role to with that, but Avs seeing the Avs go on 19 games undefeated streak, thank to large part to Kuemper. Playoff are a different animal, thou, got 5 for both series, TB vs Col for the Cup
Both conference finals are going to be awesome–in the West, it's the Avs, with MacKinnon, Makar, and Landeskog vs the Oilers, with McDavid, Draisaitl and Kane–epic showdown coming ,featuring two of the game's biggest stars. Tough one but I'm Choosing Colorado in 6 games for this one. In the East, we got the Rangers vs the 2-time defending Stanley Cup Champions, The Lightning. This one is also a tough call but my heart says Rangers in 6 games for a New York-Colorado Cup final.

if Jarry was in net for Pit, NYR would be out. same with Anderson against Car. Lucky run for them … won't happen again unless Vas is injured

Oilers vs Lighting in finals. Lightning win and become solidified dynasty. Next year we have the same final lineup but this time Edmonton comes up. Reflective of Gretzky getting over Islanders- McDavid getting over dynasty lightning. History somewhat poetically repeating.
