Pickett has progressed every year with his breakout season being his last, just like Burrows. if he continues to progress, as they believe he will, his path may be no different than Burrows. His pocket presence and escapability, his antipation as it pertains to his throws, his accuracy in those passes… they are all "nfl made" like Tomlin pointed out. Those areas that can't be taught, he already got. I think people get too tied up in the past, always comparing numbers and probabilities when all they got to do is trust what they see in front of them. Believe the film. And the Steelers watched this guy for 5 years. Same building. And we're shocked and elated to be able to take Pickett at 20. After fortunately failing to move up. lol. They truly believe he is gonna be our next 'guy'. and what are the chances, or probability, this drafts best qb falls to 20?? they dont usually get past #1 or 2, 6-10, 10-15, 15-20- @20?!@ well, he did… may be fate

Austin being compared to Ross is laughable, Ross couldn’t catch and was a one trick pony, let alone if he wasn’t actually open he wasn’t productive. But that’s if we’re going off “pro comparisons” college Ross was nice.
Dalton couldn't win the big game. He folded. If not for the defense his TCU team would've been average. Dalton never won a playoff game in the NFL.
Andy Dalton? Dalton didn't have the ability or resume that Pickett does. Kanell is so bad at evaluations I don't know how he still has a job. Kenny Pickett is more of a Joe Burrow type. Same athleticism, leadership skills, accuracy.
Pickett will be big ben 2.0….. extend the play with size and mobility but, he will keep his eyes down field.
Sorry Danny; I totally disagree. Kenny Pickett seems to be a more Athletic Tony Romo. And Kenny Pickett has that Big Ben, Dan Marino, Patrick Mahomes, and Tom Brady Trait to be able to go the length of the field when the game is on the line with come from behind victories. And he is a Leader with a will to Win! I never saw that in Dalton. Never even close! Those Intangibles will make Kenny Pickett a Great QB like all the Great ones!
