Boy were they wrong
When Sam Cosentino said before the draft that Sens could draft Sanderson with the 5th pick I thought he was kidding because of at least 2 of Rossi/Raymond/Perfetti being available at the 5th pick. I guess he was right all along. All that's left is to see if Sanderson lives up to the expectation of being the 5th pick
Interesting you had the leafs and rangers picks 15 and 22 flipped. Leafs really could've used Schneider too. As a Ranger fan I'm very satisfied overall with trading up to get him if only to screw the devils over. Oh and that Lafreniere kid was good too I guess 😉
How could he have been so wrong about Perfetti? Just a moon shot away from being picked by Detroit. Absolute nothing grocery list why he should end up Detroit.
1. Playing in the state of Michigan does not lock a OHL player into LCA
2. Nor knowing Red Wings signatories = getting drafted
2. Perfetti got cut by Team Canada Jr. so if the Canadian coaches saw holes in his game, would NHL scouts?
3. Skating is a liability
Pure hype job, hopefully Perfetti's agent did not send Cosentino the check just yet.
2 for 31.. not bad not bad XD
drunk history
Good break down.
Winnipeg would go for Lundell>Quinn, they need that center of the future. Scheifele and Lundell would be a great center duo
sam…….get rid of that stache
Can you folks explain how the franchises will make money with zero fans in the seats? You seem to be going on with your happy face, but the real world is headed in a different direction. How much did the teams lose in the playoffs with zero fans?
Canadians for President Trump
Make Canada Great Again
Is this the same list that came out like a month ago? Doesn’t seem like it- but I still think Perfetti is a massive mistake if Detroit takes him at 4. Detroit needs a playmaking center most. Even if that weren’t the case, I would absolutely not pass up a chance to get Marco Rossi.
Perfetti has reasons to be concerned about his game. His skating is awful- he doesn’t play in all zones, he floats a lot. Rossi’s only knock is he’s small. That said, there have been smaller players who had spectacular careers during a much more physical, violent NHL. The current NHL keeps moving further away from physical play, making these small playmakers with great skating into even better picks. Besides that, Rossi plays a 200ft game, he’s great at face offs, he’s the best pure passer in the draft, he’s a smart player who doesn’t give the puck away. Everything about Rossi is exactly what Detroit needs most. We have 1 playmaker in Larkin, and potentially a TWF who can produce a bit in Veleno when looking to the future. Helm, Glendening, Filppula, and Nielsen are all bottom 4 forwards at this point, and are definitely not part of the future. Rasmussen doesn’t seem to have the skating or puck skills to be an NHL center. He might slot in well as a middle 6 winger, but we have other wingers already who will be part of the future of the team. We don’t need to add another one who has serious red flags (Perfetti)- especially if it means passing on the teams biggest need, and someone who’s ceiling could be higher than almost anyone in Marco Rossi.
I agreed with the top 5 and said finally someoene has the same top 5 as me and then he said Sanderson at 5 over drysdale
LA should take Byfield, Unfortunately I think Stutzle will be a bust..
Meh…watch THG, the Hockey Guy on YouTube for draft selections. He knows more about hockey than this clown.
I like that Ottawa went back to the 2d logo
lmao SN so cheap they can't get you a mic? i had to quit watching this crap
No way the Sens take Poirier at 28th. Based on your mock draft, you have the Sens picking two dman in the first round and I don't see that happening.
Lost me at #2 Byfield just makes way more sense for LA
caps suck, dont waste a pick on caps
